Spiral stairs, no elevator. Room for 4 a little too narrow for people with bulky luggage.
Plus, bathroom adjoining the bedroom, well lit, clean with a large window.

The Montclair hotel is very well located, close to the metro and the bus and anyway you have access to everything by walking. The Sacred Heart is a 10-minute walk away...
Our welcome was correct, we just found it a pity not to be able to book breakfast for the next day, it obviously had to be done at the same time as the reservation, too bad for us.
At the bedroom level, everything was clean, the mattress and pillows were of very good quality, the room was small but it was good enough for sleeping. The shower cabin was also small and the real negative point was the water outlet, there was no shower head so to shower it was the jet in the face, it was not super pleasant but not deadly either.
The darkest point, which kept us awake, was the noise. The walls seem made of paper and the repeated passages all night long with the doors slamming didn't let us sleep a wink...too bad.

Avevo visto una camera su ******* e mi hanno offerto un altra camera praticamente terrificante con le spine staccate dal muro senza armadio, con la muffa al bagno, tavoletta del wc spaccata,senza comodini per i letti,senza attacca panni,i giacchett8 li abbiamo appesi sopra il termoarredo del bagno.. camera pessima termosifoni poco caldi. Unica nota positiva metro nella vicinanza, sconsigliato per famiglie

Il peggior hotel dove soggiornare a Parigi ! Camera sporca con forte odore di muffa. Servizi inesistenti! Richiesta la colazione la mattina non è stata possibile fare perché va richiesta il giorno prima! Scale strette e pericolose . Sconsigliato

There were pros and cons to our stay. I booked it as a hotel but it is a hostel (not really and issue for us). The website photos do not accurately reflect the current state of the building. It is not bright and fresh as in the photos, but very tired and in need of some serious TLC. While the beds and bedding were very comfortable, the metal bed frames were very noisy. The window frames were rotten and allowed the weather in. The hairdryer didn’t really dry and was stuck together with tape. We were on the top floor and had a lovely view of Sacre Coeur. There is no elevator which didn’t bother us but could be an issue for some travellers. Despite the rundown nature of the property, it was perfectly adequate for our needs and we found some great restaurants nearby. Value for money, just don’t expect what you see in the pictures.

The location was quiet and felt safe. The rooms were basic and not quite like the photos. Beds were comfy and rooms were warm. Breakfast was OK.

All their rooms had bed bugs or were booked and they turned us away in the night to find a place to stay elsewhere with no help in getting a refund
