I asked for disposable slippers from the front desk but they said they only have them in superior rooms...OK OK. No one guided me to the elevator. The service is too poor for a hotel of this price. What a disappoin**ent for the high price paid - everything about the place was tenth-rate - parking, the sloth pace of the check-in staff (only one desk manned with a queue of 30 Americans waiting), the cramped oom with its lousy view, the mediocre breakfast buffet, the badly-trained wait staff, the surly concierge and the never-to-be-seen attended Guest Relations desk. Just one bright spot - the barman in the ground floor bar was an absolute gem.
Accor's standards have gone down precipitously in the past few years, to the point where it's a waste of time belonging to its guest program and a waste of money to stay at ANY of its hotel brands.
