I just stayed at Hotel Nabis in Paris for three nights, having visited the same hotel previously and enjoying its intimate decor and attention to detail. However, this time, my experience fell short of expectations, especially considering the premium we paid for a deluxe room. Classic room would have cost less with breakfast included. The room we were allocated, number 62 on the top floor, turned out to be cramped and challenging to navigate. A significant portion of the room sloped downward towards the window, making movement around the bed difficult without bumping into the low ceiling. The overall atmosphere was dark due to the limited natural light from a single small window, which wasn't visible when lying on the bed due to the obstructing sloped ceiling, and a large TV dominated the small room. Furthermore, the room amenities were lacking. There was only one bathrobe provided for two guests, and the room was not serviced on the first day. There was a single attempt to clean the room while we were inside, but no follow-up visit was made later. Otherwise I would not mind, but the shower has no curtain so water was everywhere and we got all In the past, staying in a deluxe room meant enjoying premium cosmetics, namely Skinjay-branded essential oil, which were noticeably absent this time. Another disappointing aspect was the absence of a mini bar or even water in the room, there was just an empty fridge. While the hotel's decor and ambiance remain charming, and I enjoy the area, this particular visit did not meet the standards I expected from a deluxe room at a 4 star hotel. I hope the management can address these issues to ensure a consistent and pleasant experience for future guests.
