Visited while on honeymoon and had the best experience. The general duty manager Pierre was exceptional. Upon hearing that it was our honeymoon he immediately let us view different types of rooms with an upgrade at no charge for my husband and I to celebrate our most memorable trip together. He also assisted us with restaurant reservations which was almost impossible to acquire on our own for the remainder of our stay and anytime he had seen us in the lobby he would greet and be of assistance. The breakfast was amazing, the vast range was exceptional and when called from the room the staff were always excited to help and on time with any request and a late check out was granted to us as well. My husband’s shoes were dirty from a day out and without us requesting when they cleaned the room they cleaned the shoes as well at no extra charge. All of this really made us feel that we received our money’s worth and more. It will be difficult to stay anywhere else in Paris after this experience as the hotel really set the bar high for us.

Cadre magnifique Brunch partant des viennoiseries aux entrées et plats le tout fut succulent sans parler d'une musique live très agréable grâce à la voix suave d'une jeune chanteuse. Le service était impeccable. Seuls bémols la place en face de l'entrée et son lot et va et vient ont généré un courant d'air assez désagréable et un soucis au niveau du chocolat chaud qui était malgré deux tentatives trop solide ne coulait pas malgré l'insistance d'un des serveurs. Dommage surtout qu'un bon chocolat chaud à l'ancienne cela paraît assez élémentaire surtout pour un palace et quand nous déboursons 180€ par personne.

the hotel employee responding to the very warranted negative reviews might as well be a robot software program. the most insincere and predatorial-minded people I've ever seen. every other hotel in town has these terrible people beat. it's not worth dealing with these gold diggers just to be in an old building ..if the staff are bad it ruins the whole experience . from the owner and general manager on down worst people in any hotel in the city

Lovely room, lovely harpist. Unfortunately, we had such a disappointing afternoon tea. We sat at 3 and were able to order quickly. Then weren't even served water until after 3:40. We had to consistently get up and ask for service after letting very long wait times go by. We had the club sandwich, served well after 4, which was served grilled with hot mushy lettuce, so I couldn't eat much as it wasn't appetizing. We finally got our desserts close to 5, which we had to shovel a few in and run. We had to ask for the check as were running late for a train we had to catch later in the evening. We did mention the train earlier in the service when having to ask for sometime to serve us. We were comped a glass of champagne to help out for such a disaster of an afternoon, which I do appreciate, but long story short, I would never return. It was a mess and not worth the time and money. Hopefully, this was just an off afternoon for the hotel.
