Hotel Faubourg Galant Paris- Handwritten Collection

The hotel is located in the 9th arrondissement, conveniently close to three different metro stations, making it easy to get around to many places. It's not just near one specific attraction, which is perfect for independent travelers who like to plan their own itineraries. You can walk to the Louvre and the Seine River in about 30 minutes in the evening, but that depends on your energy levels. The breakfast spread was quite good, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel has an elevator and air conditioning in the rooms, which is a big plus. While the room was small, that's pretty standard for this price point in Paris. Overall, for us, convenience outweighed any desire for unique features, so we were quite satisfied.

The hotel has a beautiful design, and the rooms are clean with polite staff. The only downside was the lack of hot water from the day of check-in until the next morning due to an external pipe issue. The hotel did arrange for guests to use a room in the neighboring hotel to shower, which was a thoughtful solution, but it was still quite inconvenient. It would have been much better if they had contacted guests or Ctrip in advance to convey the information, allowing us to adjust our plans accordingly.
