St Christopher's Inn Paris - Gare du Nord Reviews

This was my first time staying in a hostel in Paris, and definitely it was a pleasant experience. This place is very convenient if you’re traveling via train, Gare du Nord as its few minutes walk. The room itself was tidy and clean (I stayed in a dorm of 4, mixed), only not comfortable when staying during summer heatwave and you forgot how Paris can be humid and too hot! Although, the breakfast compensated for my sleepless night, and for the value I paid for, it is still worth it.

Worst hostel experience. No air conditioning – unbearably hot. Couldn't sleep for 2 days. Location near Gare du Nord is great, and everything else was fine, but without AC in summer, just don't.

It was a great stay there. The location was very good because you will get all the Asian restaurants nearby the hostel location.

It's pretty old hostel. The curtain on the bed is a bit short, it can't fully cover you. The bar downstairs is very noisy.

The room wasn’t very clean, but it was still okay to stay in. It’s suitable for traveling with a group of friends. There’s a bar downstairs that plays loud music, but it can actually be fun if you’re staying with friends.

Not good, not bad, a bit pricey for what it is. The staff is friendly (not always speaking French), the hostel should definitely get renovated. It's a good place to go if you get a great deal.

Overall, I had a good stay at St Christopher’s. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. The only downsides were that there were not enough washrooms for the number of guests, and the rooms did not have fans, which made them quite hot during the summer. Adding more bathrooms and improving ventilation would make the stay much more comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would stay again.

Its okay but hotel staff are not accommodating.

This hostel is disgusting. The bathrooms were constantly dirty with urine on the seats and floors. Without toilet paper or any soap in the showers. The hostel is in need of renovations with the flooring all torn up. The price for such an awful hostel is completely unjustified. Not to mention due to the uncleanly conditions don't be surprised if you get bit by a big like me. The customer service is terrible too they will not help you with anything. Greedy disgusting hostel.

The main issue was the poor service. Extending our stay was a hassle; we had to check out, check in again, and switch rooms. No one bothered to fix the broken floor, and the front desk staff seemed to be constantly arguing with guests.

The hostel is located right next to two of the main railway stations which was great for my travel plans. The stuff is really nice and helped me carry the luggage as one of the lifts is broken. Cleanliness could be better d. Ex there was a contact lense on the shelf of my bed but I do not use any. The hotel is a bit older, so there were some moldy spots in the bathroom, also the floor has some wear-and-tear signs. As other people wrote due to the club downstairs it can be a bit noisy. I think it is a great value for money in an expensive city with limited space, it is not a place I would stay to relax and recharge .

Functional but not great. USB sockets didn’t work. Sink was blocked. Lots of noise at night (ok it was Friday). The beds are metal and four-to-a-set up so anytime anyone came in or left it woke everyone up.

The hostel was clean and very close to the metro. I stayed there for two nights and liked it.
