There is only one socket in a room, the bathroom has no window and smells musty

2024.05 I stayed in a mixed dormitory for one night. I stayed in a seven-person room, but it was actually three rooms connected by walls, so it felt like I was in a room with a woman and it was comfortable. It was inconvenient that there was no outlet or light by the pillow. I was in the top bunk of a bunk bed, but the bed creaked quite a bit, so I had to be careful when other people were sleeping there late at night or early in the morning. They were able to store my luggage before check-in and it was easy to keep track of because it was numbered. It was close to Anvers station on the metro line 2 and within walking distance of the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, so it was nice to be able to take a walk around Montmartre in the morning.

I am a repeat guest. First of all, the buildings in Europe are old and not as large or new as those in America or Australia. I really like this hostel. This year, I booked a room with a view of Sacré Coeur from the window. I have stayed in rooms without a view, but it makes a big difference just to be able to see it. The cleaning staff this time were Romanian, and they were the most careful and time-consuming of all the hostels I have stayed at, so I had a very pleasant stay. I would like to thank Uliana (I don't usually write names in reviews, but I asked her for her name). The good points of this hostel are: ・Location ・View from the window ・Price 1 minute walk from Anvers metro station, 1 minute walk from the hostel. The security is good and there is a supermarket nearby, and a convenience store next door that is open late. The security of the hostel is at your own discretion. There is a separate shower and toilet outside the room, so there was no problem even in a 6-person room. The building is old, so there is not one outlet for each person. We all share and charge our phones. There is no light by the bedside. There is a locker that can be used as a safety deposit box. It does not have a lock, so it will not work unless you have your own padlock. Things I would like to see: - If there was salt and pepper oil in the kitchen. - If the laundry wasn't broken. - If they could lend me a blanket because I get cold easily (they didn't have any spare blankets, so they lent me lots of sheets). I would like to stay here again next time.

Clean and hygienic. The location is very good. It's close to the Moulin Rouge and the Sacre-Coeur. There's also the Hill Market nearby. It's easy to go shopping. The transportation is convenient. There's plenty to eat. The hotel counter is very friendly. Recommended

First thing, the photos with the view of Montmartre are misleading. You can't even see a little of the monument from the windows. There are no electrical outlets for the upper beds. Note, however, that I was quickly changed to a lower bed when I came to indicate this (I came in the afternoon there were still empty beds). Otherwise the price is ok with breakfast included, which is pretty decent. Pleasant welcome and well-connected location.

Perfect location, the subway station is 2 minutes from the hotel, the service was quick, the staff were friendly and helpful, there were several stores and restaurants on the block, everything was clean. I will definitely be back.
