Residhotel Imperial Rennequin

Wasn’t told about breakfast upon arrival, didn’t know it was in your room and you had to complete a form. Other than that, room spacious, staff friendly and croissant were amazing. Location is away from the city center but used e-bikes to get everywhere.

ResidHotel is the best aparthotel stay my family has had. The staff was warm and welcoming and felt like our family. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to use. Our balcony view was so peaceful. The rooms have air conditioning, which was extremely important on the hot August days this trip. The location is in the 17th arrondissement and was the best location we could have asked for. It is near enough to the the Arc de Triomphe to walk, but far enough away to not be in a tourist area. Plan a late evening to walk to the Seine river for a Bateaux Mouche boat tour. The metro lines 2 & 3 were our primary mode of transportation and are walking distance. There are many good cafes, restaurants, boulangeries, and department stores(FNAC, Monoprix, Carrefour,etc.) nearby. We had a café crème every morning at a different cafe each time. The fruit market on Rue Poncelet had the freshest fruits ever. There is a wholistic food store called Naturalia nearby, which has bio and international foods you can use in your kitchen at ResidHotel. There is a laundromat right around the corner if you want to do your laundry yourself. The ResidHotel will have you feeling like a Parisian, even if only for the length of your vacation! The room was true to the website pictures. It is incredibly big by Paris standards, which we appreciated, and very nice & comfortable with a small balcony overlooking an internal courtyard. A small kitchenette was also a plus. If you want the full hotel experience, beware that this is more a long term apartment complex than a hotel, so no dining room or lobby. Reception was kind and helpful. Since the reception isn't open 24/7, we emailed beforehand and got clear and simple instructions on how to enter our room when they are closed. The area was surprisingly nice. A residential neighborhood 15 minutes walk from Arc de Triomphe, it had a less touristy vibe to it, with some nice restaurants and easy access around Paris via public transportation. As others claimed, there are small things in the room which have grown a bit old, and may need some updating, but in my eyes it is a minimal issue. The bathtub is set a bit high, so if you are elderly or less stable, that may be problematic.

Great place to stay for a short holiday. Location is excellent and staff are very friendly and helpful. The kitchenette is also well resourced. Rooms can use a bit of a remodeling and we had some issues entering the front gate during one of the nights but it was quickly resolved.
