Arrived at the apar**ent, 5pm in the afternoon, it was cheap so I wasn't expecting anything over fancy. The location was awful. It looked like a refugee camp outside, homeless men everywhere, not good when you're with teenage daughters. The apar**ent was very run down. Worse bit, bathroom, mould everywhere, and water leaking from the light fitting above the shower, as a result water all over the floor, this obviously wasn't a recent issue as per the mould everywhere, contacted the owner / management company, no response, not even an apology.

I have never given a bad review in my career until now. There was a spill in the bathroom when I arrived. The host never shared welcome material so i asked people in the building for the door code, the wifi password. I couldn't wait to leave.

WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE EVER - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! My nigh**are of booking an apar**ent with Home Sweet Home started the minute I made ny booking - it turned out to be my worst travel experience ever. Upon booking I recieved no confirmation or check-in information from the property company. After sending several messages I recieved an email I could not read in French. Since I needed the adress of the property and code to get in I texted the property manager who was totally unresponsive. When I finally got hold of him he was unpolite and arrogant. After more than 15 text messages and reminders following my arrival in Paris I finally got the adress to the property and told I could leave my bags there in the morning before checking in. I was then told I could not leave my bags until 3pm. Then this was later changed to 4pm. When I finally arrived to check in after spending half the day texting the manager (who refused to give me a call), I got an extremely arrogant and rude reply saying I couldn't check in since there was a double booking. I had now spent several hours texting the property company and running arround with three heavy bags in Paris. When I finally got hold of the manager by phone, I did not recieve any apology but an extremely rude reply saying this wasn't their problem. I had to find my own accomodation for the night. Home Sweet Home is not a serious company. Please avoid this place at all costs!

We made a booking through *********** 5 months in advance, when we landed we went to the place and called the company home sweet home so they can come and give us access, we tried contacting them for 2 hours while standing in the street in front of the apar**ent, finally he just replied to our message on Whatsapp and said they have overbooked and now they have no place for us, so I had to quickly find another place while in the street with my wife and 3 year old, ended up paying double as I was booking last minute. Stay away if you actually want a place in Paris , oh and I got my refund 7 days later after 5 phone calls and many emails to him and ***********

Les logements ainsi que les parties communes sont sale et insalubre ... pas entretenue , personnel intimidant et malhonnête patron irrespectueux.... A fuir si vous souhaitez passer un week-end sans encombre .....

A notre arrivée, la femme de chambre nous installe dans une mauvaise chambre, se fait disputer par le gérant par téléphone et donc se met à nous parler très agressivement. Nous partons pour notre journée d’EVJF. Je suis obligée d’appeler le gérant plusieurs fois dans la journee pour avoir les codes d’accès au hall de l’immeuble et aux codes des boîtes à clé . A 20h30 nous arrivons à l’hôtel, le code d’entrée du hall ne fonctionne pas . Derrière la vitre un homme assez impressionnant nous regarde affalé dans un fauteuil sans venir nous aider . Nous oui faisons signe de venir ouvrir la porte , il se poste devant nous les bras croises et nous demande agressivement ou nous allons car le gérant ne l’a pas prévenu d’une arrivée (nous comprenons qu’il s’agit du gardien ). Nous montons au 3ème, peu rassurée toutes les 5, pour accéder à notre chambre, la porte est entrouverte, un nuage de fumée dans la pièce et une chicha sur la table, l’appart est occupé. Nous comprenons rapidement que l’immeuble est très mal fréquenté. Finalement on nous dit de nous installer dans l’appart d’en face . Et là les photos parleront d’elles même, elle valent le détour. Le sentiment d’insécurité associé à la saleté nous pousse à réserver immédiatement un autre hôtel. J’appelle le gérant qui dit qu’il arrive pour encaisser notre règlement. Nous l’attendons 1h devant la porte de l’immeuble sous la surveillance du gardien. A attendant le UBER arrive , le gérant n’est toujours pas arrivé, il est 22h30. J’explique au gardien que nous devons partir et que je verrais avec la plateforme de réservation pour le règlement . Et il me répond qu’il a ordre de ne pas nous laisser partir, il attrape ma valise et l’enferme dans le hall. Nous sommes 5 femmes effrayées. Nous montons dans le van Uber, nous attendons le gérant jusqu’à 23h. S’en suit une serie d’insultes et de menace. Il nous estorque 50 euros en espèces et 50 euros en carte et nous laisse partir . Nous avons appelé la police qui n’est jamais arrivée . Il est 23h30 et la soirée est gâchée . A fuir! Je pense que la note globale est truquée par des commentaires achetés. C’est la seule explications possibles !

We landed in Paris and I called the host to tell at what time we were going to arrive at the apar**ent but the host told me the apar**ent was not available and he started inventing excuses. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THEM.
