Oh la la ! Hotel Bar Paris Bastille

We've just come home from a one night stay in this very nice hotel in the bastille district...its so close to the metro which is a bonus and is surrounded by bars and restaurants and little shops. Our room on the 4th floor was spotlessly clean and very well presented. The decor was simple and fresh. Our view over the monument spectacular....wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to all, however, bear in mind, there is NO lift, the 4th floor was a long climb, I wouldn't have wanted to be any higher.

Very nice boutique hotel, super well located! Warm welcome & great service! Beautiful view to the Bastille Square, no noise coming through during the night. Super clean room with great interior decor and excellent quality of beds! We would definitely go back!

Everything with this hotel is terrible, the web pictures show nice bright cool rooms which has nothing to do with the actual reality. The building and lighting materials are cheap and uncool. It is like a dorm room but worse because everthing was in the wrong place, the bathroom door, the sink, the wardrobe, the stairs, the bed, so horrible and unusable. The floor bed and two stairs in the middle of the room is dangerous.The lighting too bright or broken. There was a construction going on with a lot of debris in the view of the courtyard room which makes it even more depressing.It was 12 degrees and rainy in Paris in may but the hotel switched to summer mode so more to my chagrin the room was cold and smelly. There is no front dest staff only one person working for the bar who gives you the room keys, inexperienced, untrained in hotel services. I hated every minute I spent there and it almost ruined my whole stay in France.

We expected this hotel to be great but it turned out to be everything we expected and more. It is close to the metro (and Gare de Lyon), near restaurants and some beautiful French bakeries. The staff were incredibly helpful and assisted with our every needs. Based on the reviews we thought it may be noisy but despite being on the first floor and facing the street yet we heard absolutely nothing. If you are looking for a place close to restaurants, bars, and public transport don’t look anywhere other than Oh La La!

Very nice little hotel at perfect location with three metro lines in front of the hotel and view to place de la bastille, notre dame and tour eiffel from 6th floor. Very nice and interesting area in the streets nearby. Friendly service and staff with cosy a**osphere - different to big hotel chains.
