The room overlooked the interior courtyard, and the music from the bar/club downstairs was loud. It is also quite noisy due to the very large number of rooms on the different floors. So doors slamming all the time from 7am. In the end, the quiet night is short. For one night, it's ok but no more.
The layout of the room is spartan, but that's enough. When I arrived, the window was half open and the heating was broken (it was 0 degrees outside). The receptionist was very kind, and gave me a small convector while waiting for the heating to be put back into service.
It’s a very cosmopolitan place, between a youth hostel and a hotel. I would recommend it to young people who want accommodation in Paris on a low budget. Access to each area is very secure (elevator, corridor, bedroom, etc.). In short, I have already experienced worse and more expensive.

Das Hostel liegt nahe dem Gare de l'est in einer nicht ganz so schönen Nebenstraße, also nicht gerade in der besten Ecke von Paris.
Das Zimmer war sehr viel kleiner als in der Hotelbeschreibung und bestand aus einem Bett und dem sehr kleinen Bad, das nicht größer war als in einem Nachtzug. Die Ausstattung ist hostel-like schlicht und funktional. Leider waren einige Latten im Bett gebrochen und auch die Beleuchtung am Bett war beschädigt.
Im Innenhof liegt der Frühstücksraum. Dort ist auch eine Bar, in der jeden Abend Aktionen stattfinden, auch liegt dort öfters ein DJ auf. Leider ist es dann auch im Zimmer sehr laut.
Die Lage ist sehr gut gelegen, man kommt überall gut mit Metro und Bus hin.
