Hipotel Lilas Gambetta Reviews

On quiet street so taxi pickup and drop off easy and near to small supermarket, bank and restaurants of various types. It is half an hour from central paris but i chose to stay here because I was near to who I was visiting. My main bug bare is that the lift is painfully slow to come, to close doors, to go down. I am patient but this tested it. First time taxi drivers arrived before I could get downstairs! Breakfast for an extra €12 is continental. My room, the sink was a bit blocked so water took ages to drain. You would have to leave it and go but that is what I was usually doing so I didnt complain. Only one door on the shower so first day floor completely flooded until I asked for more towel mats. Its like a small local very old Travelodge but OK. Dingey and dark but if you are out most of the time then it doesnt matter. I would stay here again at a push. The lift just really got on my last nerve.

The breakfast is okay, there are not many choices, the same every day, the waiters are not so friendly, the room is small, the elevator is very small, it is a short distance from the subway, but there are buses to take,

Nice hotel. Room a little small and equipped with a fan. Decent bathroom. Elevator because there are five floors. Good breakfast. Listening staff. Lots of small restaurants around and two metro stations within 300 meters.

Great hotel for great price.

Brilliant value for Paris, a clean room (302 looking back out to the Ave Gambetta), nice firm mattress and pillows, clean towels and room refreshed daily, friendly staff and a lovely 1 euro coffee machine in reception. It is only few minutes either way to a Metro stop, and from there a couple of pound will get you anywhere on the network. Several bars and supermarkets are nearby. A great find and we are glad we made it our base for 4 days and nights of exploring this wonderful city

A very reasonably priced hotel in a quiet location away from the centre of Paris but conveniently sied for the metro. My ensuite room was clean and comfortable and perfectly fine for a few nights stay. Buffet breakfast was not especially extensive but for the price, I can't complain. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel was refurbished so the room was very Confortable. Bed, Bathroom, Pillows, Tv and really good sortiment of cable channels make the stay pleasent. Breakfest is very simple but delicious. Internet is the problem. In my Room not work very good. Another Plus. and i think is the most important. is the hotel is reallly very good located. You can take a bus or walk to the metro station and reach all quartiers. I love it. Staff speak poor English but very kind.

Or how not to sleep well in a hotel... Partitions made of sheets of paper, impression that the neighbors are in the room, doors slamming. And when we manage to doze off again, the cleaning begins!
