Hotel Duquesne Eiffel

With the balcony room you have a partial view of the Eiffel Tower it was not an impressive view and was quite far away the balcony itself is small and taking a good picture you say challenge the room is self it’s nothing special it’s not worth the high price without a gimmick of the Tower view however the breakfast buffet is good and the staff are nice and pleasant.

This was our first visit to Paris, and it’s for our anniversary, so my husband and I splurged on getting the premium Eiffel room. I had kindly asked for the room with the best view to make our trip even more special and hoped for the best. When we first stepped in our room, the rose petals on the bed and the view from our balcony took my breath away! From the prompt and frequent email communication from Drichelle to the warmth and kindness of Checilia (I believe that was her name) to the reliability of the housekeeping team, and of course, this amazing view (see pics), having Hotel Duquesne Eiffel as our home base made for one amazing vacation! This is an older property and the room isn’t very big, but the size was just right for my husband and me, and the room was very clean and comfortable. It’s worth noting that the staff was always welcoming, whether it’s a simple greeting or conversing in English (when my attempts at speaking French weren’t completely successful). As sure as our return to Paris is in the very near future, so will this be the hotel that we’ll book (and hopefully, they give us the same amazing room no. 55🤞🏻). Merci beaucoup, HDE, for giving us the best room and for your kind hospitality!! Quick notes: École Militaire métro and several bus stops were only a block or two away and made for very easy transportation throughout the city. Nearby Rue Cler was such a treat with its cafes and shops.

This is a wonderful quaint hotel with a helpful and friendly staff who made our stay in Paris very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Excellent. Next time I will have a larger suite.

I enjoyed my stay

Fashionable boutique hotel in excellent location. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower , restaurants , grocery , laundry , ecole militaire metro nearby ( for travel to louvre and other sites in Paris) and a short cab ride to Mont Parnasse train station . The morning breakfast, catered by wonderful attentive staff , was WELL worth the 13 euros : fresh coffee, pastries, fruit salad , eggs ,cheese and various juice in a beautiful setting . We had room #21 , with a view of the Eiffel Tower each evening . The room had a separate WC from bath/shower . Found the room generous for Paris standards .

Room was much smaller than advertised property is very small. Was sold a room with a view and did not deliver with no rate adjustment. Fire dept had to come for a gas leak. Bathroom sink drain was slow, shower was a box shower like a cruise. Lights require a key to stay on which means you better have a key for each person. They didn’t give us that. Speaking of the key our one key stoppped working on day 2 and needed to be re programmed. The fridge has a light that doesn’t work and flashed all night long. Speaking of the fridge it was poorly installed without ventillation causing heat in the shelving. No water pressure in the shower, a bar that doesn’t open a broken bed light and more. Not what I paid for. I will say it was very clean!

We were part of a tour group that had been booked at this hotel and it was wonderful! The rooms are typical European small, but was fine for two of us. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff speaks very good English. The breakfast was ample with a good variety. The hotel is in the 7th district, close to major sites, the Rue Cler shops and cafes along with many other cafes. Easy access to the Metro and bus routes. I hope to go back again!
