The hotel is dated and would benefit from better upkeep. The walls, in particular, could use a fresh coat of paint. The main issue, however, was the service. During check-in, the front desk manager completely ignored us and seemed more focused on patronizing the employee assisting us than welcoming guests. The front desk employee remained professional and did her best to help despite the pressure. The interaction felt unwelcoming and below the standard expected from a 4-star hotel. The superior room was spacious, but the AC did not work properly during a heatwave, and no help was offered when we reported it. The room was way to hot for comfort. The water glasses in the room were also dirty, leaving us drinking directly from the tap late at night. I cannot not recommend this property.

An old hotel with a small, old furnished bathroom, especially the tiny toilet place. We arrived a bit earlier after the overnight flight( I requested early checkin in the reservation). We were so tired and asked for an early checkin, but got rejected even though they had room ready. They will charge €30+ for early checkin, any minutes before 3pm. That’s not hospitality! No matter how polite your staff speak, the most important thing is being helpful and solve an easy issue. We ended up with just watching the clock to reach checkin time since outside was cold and raining at that day. That’s ridiculous!

The room is completely different from what’s shown on the advert. Those pictures on the advert are different from the actual hotel and the rooms. I think those pictures were taken when the hotel was still new, maybe from some 50yrs ago. The garden looks great on the picture, but when you go there nothing is good about that place. It is really misleading. The breakfast is so terrible- just bread, 2 types of juice and boiled eggs every single day. And of course there were some hot drinks. Very bad indeed for the price we paid. Hard to believe this’s a 4* hotel. On the advert it says there is airport shuttle at a surcharge but when I called to book a day before my flight, I was told that they won’t do it anymore. I have been to so many places in Europe or even outside Europe, and this one is the worst 4* hotel I have ever seen. I traveled with my wife and she hated it. The only positive is the location, close to metro and you can go anywhere you want. The other one is staff speak English, and helpful.

It’s not classic it’s old . Forniture and bathroom need a total renovation . Table and chairs at the breakfast are horrible . Moquette in the room . Yellow ceramic bathroom . We are in 2023 not in 1970 …. There 50 years between this hotel and the day of your reservation . If you want a vintage style you have to buy something vintage in a modern structure , in this hotel is everything vintage . It’s like someone bought the hotel so many years ago and hold it without renovate anything.

Nice location. Near to train stations. Breakfast is basic. Quiet, off main road which is nice. Did not use hotel facilities, no comments.
