Very nice hotel tucked away in a fairly quiet corner of the Latin Quarter just across from Saint Severin Church. Very easy access to Cluny Sabonne and Saint Michel - Notre Dame Metro access (less than 1/2 mile away). Easy entrance to RER B train to airport from Cluny Sabonne Metro entrance, which is right around the corner (2 min walk) with only about 15 steps to navigate. “Lobby” area is very small and underwhelming but don’t let this be a concern as the rooms and breakfast area are VERY nice! We requested room 41 (or 42) for economical room on the Church (quiet) side. Room was lovely with premium bedding/ towels and had great storage areas, lots of built-in shelving/closet. Bathroom was great with deep tub/shower which was great for a soak; however, if you have mobility issues the tub may be difficult to navigate. A hairdryer was supplied in the bathroom. The hotel did have a small elevator. Mini frig stocked daily with one each water, fizzy water, and Coke - all free. The room also had a Nespresso coffee machine. In breakfast/lobby area there is an honor system mini bar with more cokes, wine, beer, and spirits like Jack Daniels, Bailey’s, etc for reasonable prices. Service could not have been better! Everyone so very welcoming and courteous! Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices of pastries, meat, cheese, toast and lots of premium jams and honey, yogurt, fruit, sometimes scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage links were available, sometimes not, depending on what time we came (but probably would have been made available had we asked). There were 4 kinds of juices each morning. There was a coffee machine in the breakfast area but the attendant didn’t want you to use this, she would bring me a teapot of “Americano” each morning and I would ask for milk which she also brought in a stylish serve dish. Just ask the attendant available 24/7 at the front desk if you want ice. Very polite, attentive staff all spoke excellent English and were happy to answer any questions.
