Our family of four has a lovely stay at Hotel Cambon. The location can't be beat as it is on a quiet side road with easy access to the Metro and within walking distance to many sights. The rooms were very clean, nicely appointed, and bathrooms were above average size (for Paris). Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well done with lots of options from cereal to croissants, to eggs, meats, and cheeses. They even has gluten free bread and cereal (when asked) which was a bonus! We reserved a "family connecting room" which was two rooms at the end of a hallway separated by a door that could be closed off for privacy. Each bedroom had its own door that locked every time you closed it. This lead to several "lock outs" as my kids couldn't remember to grab a key when they came to our room. We tried to use a door stand to keep them open but it didn't work well. This is something to keep in mind if you have younger kids. Also, I was under the impression this would be one queen/ king bed and two twins but we had 1 queen and 1 king. My kids were disappointed to share a bed (boy/girl teenagers) but this did not take away from our positive experience. Side Note- they did not offer shampoo and conditioner in the rooms. We only brought one set (but had two bathrooms due to our family rooms). When I inquired if there was any at the desk, I was told that I could purchase some at a shop (grocery store etc.), which I did. I am not sure if it is common in Paris not to offer these amenities, but remember to bring your own, if staying here. We enjoyed our stay. This is a nicely updated small, boutique hotel in an excellent location. I would definitely recommend it.
