Staff were lovely. Mr Leon and Samir were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean. The staff who were serving breakfast were brilliant as well. Really enjoyed our stay. We will be staying again definitely.

The room was so small and the bed sheets had a peculiar smell.

Hotel chosen for its geographical location, rooms on the street side with lots of traffic, others on the courtyard side. The background noise is not the same, even if the windows (closed) are very effective. Corridor doors not very soundproof (so it depends on the behavior of other customers...). Room small area, but there is what it takes. Good thick and comfortable bedding, recent bathroom (WC, shower, washbasin), everything is very clean. Welcome nickel breakfast, even if taken before 6:00 am.

We stayed here during the Olympics and booked the family room. The hotel itself is simple, but the large room was comfortable and immaculately clean. The bathroom was modern and to a high standard and the air conditioning was a welcome rest bite from the heat and humidity of a Paris summer. The staff were really helpful, due to the rail attacks our Eurostar was cancelled. But the hotel were very accommodating in retaining our booking whilst we arrived a few days later. Location wise it is excellently placed near to Gare du Nord making it really simple to get around Paris on public transport. The only downside is that the area is not great, particularly with the cigarette sellers lurking outside La Chapelle Metro just to the north and the street sellers that come out after dark.

The front office staff was very efficient. They checked us in quickly and responded to our complaint in a satisfactory timely manner. When we first got into our room, the glass bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way and no door knob/handle. I have to admit we are not fans of glass doors for bathroom as you can still see a silhouette, not 100% privacy. So we brought this matter up to the staff and asked for another room. They put us in a room with a functioning bathroom door. Yay! The hotel has a small lift. Allows only one person with luggage at one time. Or 3 persons with no big bags. The room was serviced daily - which was awesome. Room was clean, comfortable beds. Pillows like most hotels are soft. This is a mere observation. Clean bathroom and overall no complaints. There was also good air conditioning and functioning heaters. This hotel is located in a side street within walking distance of Gare Du Nord train station and a local station, La Chapelle. This makes it a convenient location to catch trains. Busses are also available nearby. The Gare Du Nord area itself is a melting pot of various cultures. The street that the hotel is on gives the vibe that you’re in India not Paris. There’s an abundance of Indian restaurants, groceries shops etc. Once you take the short walk to the Main Street of where Gare Du Nord is located, you will feel the expected Parisian culture. I can recommend this hotel for the budget conscious/savvy.

As we arrived late via Eurostar and wanted to leave early, we thought that it would be a good place to stay just for one night…Big Mistake! The lift is tiny, only just big enough for two people or one person and a suitcase. After decades of travel, I can honestly say that we were given the smallest room we’ve ever stayed in anywhere in the world. It was incredibly difficult just getting in and out of bed. There were no bedside tables, a tiny TV, no cups or glasses and no bathroom amenities, except for the usual shower gel. We repeatedly heard the doors of nearby rooms bang loudly. Although I sent an email two weeks prior to our stay, requesting a room with an outside view, we could only see the windows of other guest rooms. I received none of the benefits of my elite Best Western Rewards status. It was ridiculously overpriced at 163 euros. I highly recommend investigating other hotels that might be more expensive, but are much better value for money.

Room was your average 3 star Paris hotel. I booked single room which had 2 beds, bedding was cleaned , changed each day. Shower cubicle very small, make sure both slides of shower unit opened, some one big size would find it a struggle. Only negative were paper cups in room that’s a first for me as a world traveller Lots of places to eat if you like Indian food, supermarkets. Restaurant Ville D’Aulnay 10 mins walk corner ,breakfast €9,lunch was€13.00,drinks very reasonable, opposite corner a boulangerie lots of choices of cakes, sandwiches, etc there is small seating inside and outside There is also a Chennai Dosa restaurant owned by the same people who own Restaurant Ville D’Aulnay. Lots of Indian restaurants and supermarkets, small shops selling water, good. It’s only a place to sleep comfortable for the price but location excellent.

Good location between Gare di Lyon and the Algerian quarter. Lively quarter which is slowly getting gentrified abut still has many authentic cafes, restaurants, a good market for food and bric-brac. Hotel is small boutique, with limited facilities, but clean and bright with elevator.

The room is small and the bathroom even smaller. To use the toilet is impossible to sit down even to pee you had to use the toilet from the side

My daughter (16) and I recently stayed for a layover in Paris. We needed something inexpensive and close to the train. The email confirmation I received led us to a building across the street. Then I searched it online and was sent to the "wrong" lobby. The directions on the door for the other lobby was incorrect. While there were large "HOTEL" signs, the sign of the actual building was very small. After a bit of pacing back and forth down the street we were able to finally check in. Staff was very pleasant and lovely, the room was clean. There was a TV in the corner that was mounted at the very top of the wall and not plugged in. There also wasn't an outlet anywhere nearby to plug the TV in if we wanted to use it. For what we needed it for (a place to rest our heads it was fine. But due to room size (I understand that many European hotel rooms are small), and the lack of room amenities I don't think I would stay longer than a day or 2.
