I arrived at the hotel because I wanted to leave my luggage first, but the lobby was on the second floor and I had to speak to the hotel staff at the bell before entering, so I was a little confused because my French wasn't good, but the room was great. It was. I especially liked that the toilet and bath were separated into different rooms.
I don't know what the other rooms are like, but the room I stayed in was like that. Chat Noir is historically famous, so it was worth the effort.

On the afternoon of the day of check-in, I found that the toilet could not be blocked. After defecating, I couldn’t flush it. The water was overflowing. I asked for a room change to no avail. I went to the counter downstairs and thought it would be resolved, but when I returned to the room at night, nothing was resolved. It was still the same. I went to the reaction counter, and someone else came up to look at it with a look of disgust. Very clean rooms and very friendly housekeeping staff that is ready to help you straight away. We booked two single beds and got a one double bed eventually we has been helped and personal has fixed the bad issue for us immediately. Breakfast is not big but is have everything somebody needs. 200 meters away form hotel there is a street to try the local food. Amazing by the way. Also 2 min walk is Moulin Rouge fabulous show do recommend everyone to go there and see it yourself as it’s worth it. Not far from opera and Galleries Lafayette. In general even though the hotel is on a street with sex shops and other is nice place to stay.

The location of the hotel is wonderful. Great for walking to Montmartre and loads of lovely bakeries and shops nearby. Unfortunately, because of this, the area is very very busy and so at night time it was just too noisy (I have a very high tolerance for noise as I'm hard of hearing however this was a whole other level of noise - like people from the street were in the room with us). When we stayed the temperature reached 26C and the room was incredibly hot so we had to leave the window open, shouting can be heard until 4-5am, then cars and bin trucks start. There is no option to close the window because the room is so very hot and the air conditioning and fan are completely ineffective. The bed was squeaky. My partner cut her foot on the very sharp edge of the shower tray which is not protected from anything and is difficult to avoid hurting yourself on because the bathroom is quite small. The staff were lovely and gave us a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower which was very kind however overall we were quite looking forward to going home and sadly I would not recommend this hotel to others.
