Hotel le Walt

We stayed at the Hotel Le Walt as part of a small group visiting Paris. The accommodations and amenities exceeded our expectations. The staff was excellent and the location was ideal as it is adjacent to a Metro stop. We look forward to returning at a future date.

An exceptional visit in every way - a gorgeous, conveniently-located property (I stayed in a top floor Eiffel Tower view room) with a bathroom that was more luxurious than my own home. Attentive, polished service that France is so known for - breakfast, concierge service, private airport transfers, etc. - perfection. I would absolutely return and encourage anyone considering a trip to Paris to stay here as well.

Two enthusiastic thumbs up. We stayed there for five night at the end of March 2024. The hotel is lovely with good sized rooms with a very comfortable bed, large bathrooms with good hot water and shower pressure. Closet space is adequate. The neighborhood - close to the rue Cler, Champ de Mars, and plenty of access to buses and the metro, is great. The lobby is not large but has a nice dining area for breakfast each morning and a lovely patio. But the real standout is the staff! Robin at the front desk is helpful, very nice, and quite professional. Madame Anne Marie who runs breakfast each morning is the best! A true professional that kindly sees to it that all of her guests are well taken care of and looked after. We would definitely recommend the Le Walt to anyone going to Paris!

Great location and spacious rooms!

We stayed here for one night before heading out to the countryside, and the service was phenomenal. The location is quite convenient for all the tourist activities, and our room had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. The concierge staff were impeccable.

Nice small hotel in a quieter, more residential neighborhood (7e). They have a good buffet breakfast, lots of choices and good service (look for Anne-Marie, the "Queen Lady" some days, she's great). Executive rooms are not large but they provide more comfort in the room and in the bathroom and face a quiet courtyard. We've stayed there twice in recent months. The only complaint is there's almost no space in the bathroom to put things, just one tiny drawer and no hooks for wet towels or a robe. The towel heater is a nice touch. Location is good - near major Metro, the Eiffel Tower, Rodin Museum, Les Invalides, and an easy ride to Blvd. Hausmann across the river and Galerie Lafayette shopping. Clientele seems to be mostly adults (we never saw children) - tourists and business people. That suited us fine. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Laundry service is quite good. Rue Cler, down the street, with an open air market is still worth it - you can get almost anything you want to eat there or takeaway (cheese, flowers, meat, veggies, bread, etc.). The best restaurant there is Davoli (Italian). They have a take-out counter, store, and a lovely small restaurant across the street. The French cafes on R. Cler are ok but more "assembly-line" than fresh and special like Davoli.
