Hotel Apolonia Paris Montmartre, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

The hotel was modern. It had free coffee at the reception and they do address some minor issues almost immediately. My heater wasn’t working and they fixed it. I called the receptions and he personally went up to check. They also arranged cabs for me to get to the location where I wanted to go. The reception staff is very friendly. The maintenance staff was okay but maybe they could smile a bit. I am friendly but I got the feeling the cleaning staff was too busy to smile back. The location is closed to Montmarte but you have to hike for maybe 20-30 mins. If you are up for it, it would be a good exercise. There are restaurants The only downside for me is the space. The room I was in was tiny. My standard check in luggage was big enough to occupy a walking space. The hallway was also tiny and the elevator could maybe only accommodate four to five people. If the cleaners were around, you would have to wait a while for the elevator. Though the stairs are there for you to use if you’d like. Overall it was okay. A good place to stay for a night or two if you are planning to go around Montmarte.

This property is definitely budget. VERY small rooms- hardly room to walk around the bed, not to mention put a suitcase anywhere and be able to open it up. The bathroom was TINY- I could almost touch end to end (I'm 5'7") and when you bend over your bum touches either the toilet or the shower or the door. No place to put anything on the counter. My daughter and I had a queen room (which really means a full bed) and the comforter/duvet was too small for the bed, leaving half our bodies out from under the covers all night. We stayed 4 nights. The housekeeping was iffy, often the trash was not taken out nor tissue replenished. It seemed they just made the bed and left. We did not pay for breakfast, so I can't speak to that. There is a lovely boulangerie literally 2 doors down from the hotel and we picked up excellent croissants and sandwiches and other pastries from there every day. The location is great. There is a metro stop only a short walk away, which was very handy. The area seems quite safe with locals around.

The service was good enough.

This is a Best Western Hotel, no air conditioning until the day we leave apparently. We had to move rooms as they'd put us on the top floor. It was 25/26 degrees in a stuffy room. Moved down to ground floor, little cooler, staying 3 days & only changing our towels after 2 days, nowhere to dry the towels as it's a wet room, floor stays wet! No refill of a hot drink in the morning, paper cups. The beds are comfy tho We've stayed in Ibis/Etap & found them better.

This hotel was perfect. I am a professor (from the US) who organized a trip for 20 college students. We stayed here for 5 nights and I would 100% stay here again. The metro is a short walk away and there are numerous restaurants, stores, and grocery options in this area. Laundry is right next door as is a bakery. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was very good and filling. The rooms were clean and updated. They're a bit small but that's to be expected in Paris. The price here was incredibly reasonable, especially for how nice this hotel is, when compared to other options we were considering. I highly recommend.

The standard rooms are really, really small: there’s a bed and a small desk, that’s it. The bed is really good though. Then the bathroom: if you are a little oversized you will NOT fit in the shower. The toilet is really close to the wall so you need to sit a little sideways. This is uncomfortable, even for just 3 days. Breakfast was good, enough choices of bread, cereals and fruit. Even drinks, yoghurt, eggs and pancakes. Location wise: really close to the Sacre Coeur: amazing!
