Hotel is perfectly adequate - if you want to be in Montparnasse area. It is reasonable walk to Notre Dame and rest of central Paris. Hotel was comfortable, climate controls worked fine, quiet inside and out. Did not use bar or breakfast area.

We arrived with my friend at 6:30 p.m. (i.e. 30 minutes before curfew) and the receptionist did not want to give us our room because we did not have a blue card to pre-authorize (which did not specified when booking) luckily we found another hotel. Really not at all commercial, I am very disappointed.
