Toilet and shower in the same space as the bed was interesting. Super small room, but sufficient for my one night in Paris before flying home.

Mid week trip with daughter and wife. Paris on the 14th of February is a great time to visit Paris in love. Herse d'or hotel is a great location near the Bastille,le Marais St Paul District, and walking distance to Notre Dame is 20 minutes max The area is very central to all attractions and metro networks, which takes a while to get used to, a general lack of sign posting in stations and lines are poorly connected and the rear lines creates confusion. The hotel has been recently refurbished and now with lift to all floors. Clean and comfortable, double room is excellent for this part of Paris, excellent bathroom facilities, and quiet, staff are absolutely great, and friendly and welcoming, especially Aamir and Imane, who will help you with any questions about Paris, and both have great English but all tourists will find they are tri- lingual or more. Great restaurants in this district.

L hotel est récent, la chambre est de taille correcte, joliment décorée et confortable. Bonne literie. Accueil 24/24 Personnel très agréable. Petit dej sur place possible. Bien situé à côté de la place bastille.20 min à pied de la gare de lyon

Hôtel avec un accueil inexistant personnel parlant entre eux dans une langue étranger sans aucune considération pour les clients. Aucun service sur le site ont nous annoncé un petit déjeuner en salle à l'arrivée ont nous dit que le petit déjeuner est en chambre mais dans la chambre il n'y a pas de table et une seule chaise pour 3 personnes !!! Cœur intérieur illuminée toute la nuit impossible d'être dans le noir en chambre hôtel bruyant distributeur de boisson indisponible la nuit literie de mauvaise qualité le protège matelas mis à l'envers côté plastique. Bref un établissement à fuir À notre départa 10h toujours pas de personnel !!!

What to say, from the website it looks “pitoresque” and on arrival it charm looks there, wood beam and nice to hear it was old of 400 years No lift, up to us to check and lucky out on was on second floor so best to check The staff was nice and helpful but the issue was the room The carpet was absolutely disgusting which obviously make you worried on the rest Our room was not as nice as the one you could see on the photo No Ac but a fan, better than nothing Bathroom was super small and hate these plastic curtain for hygiene and with a disgusting carpet you wonder We woke up at 3:30, pack and left as our night was a nightmare The hotel could be nice but big attention to such details needed

Much smaller room than the pictures seem to indicate. Did not know there would be no elevator so we had to climb to fourth floor with bags. Not good when disabled.

Hôtel bien placé très proche de la Bastille. Bon rapport qualité prix. L'escalier est très exigu surtout avec les bagages. Dommage que les chambres ne sont pas climatisées.
