Hotel Choiseul Opera

The sanitation is good. Just like the reviews I read before, the room is small, but the location is good. The soundproofing is not very good. The breakfast in the hotel is good and the food is served quickly.

Well, nothing to highlight, the only thing is the tiny elevator and old carpet throughout the hotel. The room is also tight, but for the center of Paris it's not bad.

Hotel very well located in a street with very good restaurant (La Petite Régalade in particular), very good bathroom bedding, simple but complete breakfast, pleasant welcome, reasonable price. It's only the elevator that's scary because it's so small!

I chose this hotel on my first trip to Paris. I booked online without breakfast so I could have a croissant in the morning. First of all, the location is the best! It's just a few minutes walk from the Opera on the Avenue de l'Opera. It's very easy to find. The entrance is a little small, and the landmark is the beer bar "Cafe Du Cadran" on the first floor of the store. There is a supermarket nearby, and the metro station is a 5-minute walk. The airport bus is also just under 10 minutes away through the back streets. It's only a little way inside, but it's not noisy at all. The only drawback is that the elevator is super narrow, and it's just barely big enough for one person with two suitcases. Although it's old, it's kept clean and I'm very satisfied.

Let's start with the fact that the hotel is located in the center of Paris, 5 minutes from the Opera building, a few steps from the metro station, 7 minutes walk from the RAR train station, about 10 minutes walk from the Louvre. There are cafes, bars, restaurants and a bakery near the hotel. The hotel is a great base for literally everywhere. Very nice service. The room may not be big, but it is clean and well cleaned every day. We had a room. 4 seater. The room has a coffee machine (we only got capsules for it on the first day), a kettle, tea, and sugar. There is a fridge, the so-called bar, but we didn't use it. The bathroom has a hairdryer, gels, shampoos, soap and body lotions with a pleasant scent. We had a large bathtub in the bathroom, but I don't know about the other rooms. I consider my stay at the hotel to be very successful...😀

The location is very good, I chose it because it is at the intersection. Classic Paris hotel, rooms are small, prices are high. You're already paying some money for the location, not the hotel. Right next to the Opera Garnier, walking distance to Vendome, Medelline Squares, Louvre Museum, and right in front of the Opera Metro. As I said, the place is in one of the important points in Paris, that's why I chose it. There is no problem in terms of hotel management. We stayed in very cold weather in winter, the heaters were burning well and the room was warm. Cleanliness is good, no problems, hotel equipment is a bit lacking, no slippers, no dental kit. There was a kettle for tea and coffee in the room, which was very good. Minibar is available and prices are affordable. The staff is polite and helpful, there is no bellboy, there is a tiny elevator and you are alone with your big suitcases. In short, apart from the high price, I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, Paris is the 2nd most expensive city in the world, so you stay in a small hotel here for the price of a Hilton in Turkey. However, if I go to Paris again, I will stay here.
