Super location next to the Seine River and Notre Dame cathedral, close to Les Marais, across from an excellent restaurant and several yards from great ice cream. I have visited Paris 6 times before but this was the first time my hotel was on the Seine which enabled me to begin to understand romantic Paris. We really enjoyed walking around the city especially during the evenings along the Seine. Note that although the hotel pictures are accurate they make spaces to appear larger.

I made an inquiry about booking on May 7 for a stay in July. Looks lovely but saw quickly room we had booked did not have air conditioning. I wrote immediately within a few minutes to cancel and they charged me the full rate! So now, not only do I not have the room, I was charged over $2,000! Be wary of booking this hotel as they do not operate their business on good faith with potential guests. I could understand if I was arriving tomorrow but I enquired and then cancelled within an hour for a stay months in advance! I’ve filed disputes with my bank but wanted to warn other travelers of this dishonest practice. It’s terrible to take advantage of tourists, no matter what the business. Be wary and do not book without investigating. As noted, they also advertise air conditioning but after inquiring, I found this is untrue in the room booked. Overall, glad to see others have enjoyed but we feel terribly scammed. Beware!

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. It is clean, quiet and elegant. The only thing I’d change is really minor; in room hot drinks materials are extensive but milk/cream is limited. The hotel manual states that additional items are chargeable - of course I can afford it, but it seems a bit miserable when everything else is so perfect.

This was my second stay at this beautiful place. It’s in a wonderful, quiet part of Paris in the center of everything. It feels as if you’re staying in a beautiful home. The staff and service are excellent.

Hotel du Jeu de Paume is positioned in a great place to explore the area by foot. A nice boutique and unique hotel with very interesting architecture.

I really enjoyed the location. Much quieter that other locations I've stayed in on both the Left and Right banks.
Some of the fixtures in the room did not work properly. The wall lights kept blinking rapidly.Turning the light on and off didn't solve it, so the lights had to be turned off.

This is a gem of a place in a great neighbourhood. Wonderful service and ambience. Very quiet and relaxing. Easy access to Le Marais and Latin Quarter. Many wonderful neighbourhood restaurants to choose from.

I was very comfortable in the room tho i had to keep the window open as it was so warm in the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the blackout curtain helped me to get good rest, as I could have the curtain down even with the window open. The shower was fine, tho the ceiling was very low and if I were very tall i would not have been comfortable in the shower. The reception staff was very friendly and able to help with any questions or problems. Breakfast was fine and pretty well rounded with hot foods (scrambled eggs & pancakes); soft-boiled eggs; baguette and croissant; cheeses and meats; yogurts and fruit.
