Hotel Bourg Tibourg

Lovely hotel in the best location for easy access to the Louvre and the Tulieries. Staff are so helpful and the breakfast was also great. Love coming back to this little hotel. Tres chic.

Let's talk about Ali and Maevia, The people on the front desk that do everything and beyond to make you feel better and comfortable. They are great. Let's talk about the location which is fabulous l. Let's talk about the bellboy unfortunately I don't know his name who is always pleasant. We can talk about the cleanliness of the rooms. The shower soaps. We can talk about many things or just say. FANTASTIC 😍 we shall come back.

Great stay! Friendly staff, classic Parisian style, and perfect proximity to shops, sight seeing, and night life.

Very charming boutique hotel in wonderful location. But the standard rooms are tiny.

This small boutique hotel is big on charm and amenities. The decor is colorfully stunning, The lobby is a cozy living room area cum bar. Our charming yet small bedroom had a mansard ceiling with a well appointed bathroom including a sizeable soaking tub. The cellar breakfast room is a step back into another century with its enchanting decor. The fresh farm eggs were cooked perfectly and the breads and croissants melted in my mouth. The location in the Le Marais neighborhood is a short distance across the river from the Notre Dame Cathedral. Le Marais is totally walkable. with a restaurant, bakery or cafe about every third storefront. Plenty of great shopping, too! Maybe the best for us is the personnel. It was our first trip to Paris, and they acted as as if we were guests in their home, seeing to our every want and need, directing us to exquisite restaurants, activities, and walks. We were sad to leave, but will plan a return trip to Hotel Bourg Tibourg.

We had a wonderful 6-day stay at the Hotel Bourg Tibourg. The hotel is exceptionally charming, comfortable, and impeccably decorated. The front office/ concierge staff are helpful in every way possible and so pleasant and professional. The breakfast is quite good and the waiter was truly the best— remembered our preferences and made it a welcoming experience. Our junior suite on the 4th floor was a good size for Paris; very modern and comfortable, nice view of the garden patio below, spacious bathroom, great shower and huge bathtub. The location is perfect. Will definitely stay here again, and can’t say enough positive things about our stay!

I booked a double bed and noted I wanted a clean room. Upon arrival in room 24, the double bed turned out to be two single twin beds, on wheels, rolled together but with separate mattresses. And the room was not clean at all: the carpet wasn’t vacuumed, the closet was moldy, there were hairs and stains on the sheets, as well as on the mattress covers and even on the mattresses. Worst of all, underneath the mattress, I found the dried husk of a squished bug! As there were no cleaning staff on site and I didn’t want to cause too much trouble, I requested a vacuum cleaner and a set of fresh sheets and I’d clean the room myself. While waiting for the vacuum cleaner, the receptionist called and told me she had found another room for me. However, once at the reception, she was overruled by her colleague who told me very aggressively that she didn’t want to show me any other room in the hotel because, quote, “she didn’t think any room would do, because clearly my standards were too high for a 4 star hotel and I should try the 5 star hotel Grand Mazarin around the corner”. She was seething with anger, but clearly wrong: 1: implying that any 4 star hotel in Paris is full of hairs and bugs is a great insult to well-kept 4 star hotels all across Paris who have suffered tremendously under the bed bug panic of the last couple months. 2: considering the problem with bed bugs, why didn’t she, as the responsible for hygiene at Bourg Tibourg, check the mattresses?? How can any guest have confidence in their cleaning standards? 3: Bourg Tibourg is owned by Groupe Costes, while Grand Mazarin is owned by a rival hotel group…the fact the staff is sending clients to the competition, rather than providing solutions, is a huge stain on the Costes name and incredibly shameful. Out of options, I had no other choice than to leave the hotel. Still waiting on my refund. Would not recommend.
