Terrible, messy, dirty and noisy

Very bad. Very cold.

I can only confirm what the others wrote in their bad reviews. I stayed here for a week with 19 other people on a study trip. The location is OK, but that's about it! We found the following problems: - The sink drains smelled rotten - Windows didn't close properly, so it was drafty at night and a few people caught colds. - There was mold everywhere in the shower. - Toilets were dirty - The same goes for the rooms - The fire alarm in the room had been removed - The beds were so rickety that the person lying on the bottom didn't like it when the person on top moved. - There were no proper bed covers and the one cloth that you were supposed to wrap around the duvet probably had "blood stains" in 50% of cases. - View of pipes that even have plants growing out of them. - When people went to the toilet next door, you could hear the toilet filling up. With all that noise, it was very difficult to sleep. (Walls made of paper) - Breakfast was not convincing either, leathery baguette, jam that tasted like sugar water and second-rate croissants. (But it was free) Overall, this hostel was a huge disappoin**ent... It can turn holidays into horror trips! Better to spend €5 more and look forward to a well-earned bed in the evening.

I only spent one night there but very good experience, simple, easy. Very welcoming and responsive staff. Rooms ok. The showers are not very practical but good value for money! I recommend!

Reservation taken by mistake on 11 10 for 27 10 for 1 night. The location is good, close to supermarkets and approximately 3 km. Of the tower. To be able to walk. The hall has lockers and a left-luggage office to leave your things and be able to leave quietly without suitcases. Breakfast is a croissant, a piece of bread, coffee and jam or cereal. I missed fresh fruit, tomato, sausage. The worst thing is that it is quite dirty and there is no toilet in the rooms for 4 people, only a shower and it didn't work. The sheets were clean. The staff was good, they resolved all my questions by email. Payment if you make the reservation on their website is in cash upon arrival. Towels are rented for €2.

Pleasantly surprised !!! Well located and not expensive for Paris We went there for one night with our 2 daughters aged 10 and 6... With a little knot in our stomachs after reading the very virulent comments (dirty showers, dirty toilets, dirty sheets, noise, lil lunch sucks and so on...) Well frankly for us it was great, 1- Well located to see the Eiffel Tower (the must you can see it from room 34😊) 2- Staff not at all unpleasant 3- clean room and bedding 4- certainly common but clean bathrooms (after all depends on everyone's education too) 5- breakfast included more than adequate and rather nice in this stone cellar 6- noise? It may be but we are marmots so here it is 😅 I'm looking for a negative point but I can't find one or surely we're not looking for the little beast. If like us you are used to simplicity then I recommend it. Our daughters loved it, so did we Our motto... Always see the glass half full, it allows you to live things in a positive way

The room they gave us was very clean and comfortable, it got us out of trouble since another hotel had canceled us, the breakfast that they include is very basic but it saves us from trouble, the common areas are not as clean as the cleanliness of the room In general, I totally recommend it.

I'm trying to note something positive...uh maybe the location is good, but there is ABSOLUTELY nothing else. The places are dirty, mold in the bathrooms in addition to being dirty, door noises all night long...mattresses hard as pebbles and not clean. And on top of all that, the front desk people are absolutely appalling and unprofessional...big dishonest people. I won't quote everything that happened because it would take too long and we weren't the only ones to complain the day we arrived. Moreover, when we arrived in our room, we were surprised to see that one of the beds was occupied by another person...in short, we will never set foot there again.
