Wet paint on the walls, dust covering everything, elevator not working for one day of my stay, hammering waking me up in the morning, having to literally move a bag of trash out of the way to get off the lift once the lift was working again… none of this was what you think of when you think of visiting Paris. On top of all this, my room was cleaned when I had my Do Not Disturb hanger up. The staff was at least very nice, and the breakfast option next door at Bruant Cafe was wonderful. The negatives were temporary, but they were infuriating.

Très bel hôtel en plein coeur du quartier Montmartre. Personnel très sympathique et à l'écoute. Petit déjeuner parfait. Chambre confortable avec vue sur la rue, propre et joliment décorée. Salle de bain un peu petite mais pour quelques nuits ça fait l'affaire. Rien à dire, je reviendrai !

Exceptional hotel with lovely staff. We were well looked after very well by Pierre, Baptiste, Meriem and Adriana. The hotel is near two metro lines. We used the bus and uber. We ate at several restaurants near the hotel, which were excellent.

I loved the location. Being women and solo travel I felt completely safe there. I walked around the neighborhood and loved it. The only issue I found was that there was ants so I didn’t feel it too clean, but that was just a small issue for me. Overall hotel the receptionist lady was lovely and helpful.

This hotel is in a great location. The room was really clean. The bed and pillows made for a great nights sleep as they were good. There are tea making facilities in the room but no milk is provided which is a shame. Also the shower is very small. The hotel was also really quiet which considering its location was a treat. The staff were lovely. My issue though is that a major renovation is going on and we were not told in advance. There are no common areas of the hotel available. We had to go to a cafe next door for breakfast. You have your room and that is that.

The staff at Hotel Basss made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless and the bed a good size and very comfortable. The good quality eco friendly soap and body wash was a nice touch. We stayed for 2 nights and the room was very quiet. This is a great location as you are in the centre of Montmartre. The online check in check out was easy to use. The personalised Paris was very useful too enabling us to visit places we would not have considered. We had a wonderful stay!

Room wasn't like in the photos. Room was cold and no heating radiators, only an air conditioner whose options for heating is blowing hot air which is unbearable to breathe while sleeping. I kept alternating between turning it off and on again to avoid suffocation while sleeping and freezing when the AC was off. Toilet was literally adjacent to the bed and it was super cold with a clogged sink. So, basically, I check-in, took showers and slept while covering my face with the blanket (at least the blanket was clean). Do not recommend without correcting these issues. If these issues are to be fixed, then and only then I would recommend this hotel.

Super séjour passé à l'hôtel Bass très bien situé près de la rue lepic, du moulin rouge et de la place du moulin de la galette et de la Butte Montmartre.
Accueil sympathique, chambre agréable et bien décoré.
Petite salle de bain mais fonctionnelle.
J'y retournerai avec plaisir

Stayed one night but would have been suitable for more, nice size room. Bathroom is very small, especially the shower. Good locations, friendly and welcoming staff.
