Hilton Grand Vacations Club Sunrise Lodge Park City

During arrival the lay out of the building is confusing. Took a while to find our room. We were staying for a quick getaway over a long weekend. Had been in Park City in October 2023 and wanted to explore a little more. As it was just my husband and myself. We decided on a studio accommodation. What we did not realize because of the joining door. Even though closed and locked we in a real sense were vacationing with the neighbors. As they are cooking meals our room smells of the cooking, we are getting up earlier in the morning as our neighbors are early morning people 6 am in the morning. With our time change even earlier. They are not being loud just going about their day normal activity such cooking in the kitchen we can hear the pans, opening the cupboards, and the wife asking her husband if he "wanted pepper." Hearing neighbors blow noise. NOT my ideal vacation, I came to relax and sleep in the morning. Furthermore, the studio accommodation we are staying in have hard beds, and our room was unclean during arrival. Saw great reviews, and 8 years ago during a previous stay had a nice stay. However, would not recommend a room with a joining door for sure.

Soft bed, nice staff and spacious living. A wonderful, seamless experience; as usual. There was a cool rack in the back to put the snowboards and a 5 minute walk to the gondola, restaurants and shops. There was no need to go to the pool area because we had a jet tub in our bathroom and could make the shower stall into a relaxing steam shower.

For those of you looking for a super convenient, effectively ski on/ski off hotel that has a tad more value than surrounding facilities, the Sunrise Lodge is a great option. The hotel is steps from the dedicated ski lift that gets you to the Canyons (though you still have to ultimately deal with the base lifts to get to the rest of the mountain). We rented from and used the ski valet at the neighboring Centric so we didn't have to carry our skis the short distance. The rooms were very clean, relatively basic but on par with the Centric. The pool and hot tub set up is central and big enough to accommodate a good amount of guests. However, aside from that, a small gym, and some changing rooms/showers, the facility is otherwise light on amenities. Keep that in mind if you reserve a room without a kitchen as you'll have to take your meals off site. But there are a few walkable options, and obviously Park City itself. Basement self-park available for a daily fee. It's a bit unfortunate they charge for parking with the cost of the room, but it's pretty common with neighboring properties. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and were super accommodating for our particular stay and specific concerns we had. While not the flashiest property in Park City, it's a solid, no-fuss option for a ski getaway.

The staff is wonderful---any concerns we had, and none were out of the norm, were addressed immediately. This is our second stay here and we love it!

Review for Jan 2022 - room is spacious for 2 BD but no heating @ master bedroom/ refrigerator not working that I had to perish all the foods. I only stayed here for 2 days but cannot wait to be done with this facility as the service team here has been very poor in customer service. Front desk- no instruction at all about the facility other than room upon check in which is uncommon for the resort. I had to ask him about parking/ ski valet and also had to ask for the map which was apparently sitting in front of him. I was told I will be able to be moved to non-construction facing site the next day, but the next day front desk person told me the other room will be also facing a construction site anyway and started to accuse me as ‘selfish’ as I am asking to move to a quieter room. Service technician who came in for the refrigerator was unprofessional (opening the door and enter without permission when I ask him to wait/ without a mask-also showing an attitude when asked / calling the customer as ‘young lady’ in a very condescending way who did not even know how to control the refrigerator with control button). It's showing as ski in and out but it’s not really ski in and out- and now sunrise lift is not working. There is a ski valet but I never encounter any staff person at the ski valet site during my stay. Manager did responded well for my complaint but the site needs significant work on staff training.

This is an ideal place for a family ski vacation. We love the location; its proximity to the ski lift is so convenient and you can ski back as well. My family and I liked and enjoyed using the gym; it's well equipped, kept clean, and water and towel supply are abundant. The favorite feature by my family are the heated pools and hot tub on the premises; it's a great way to unwind after a hard day of skiing. The staff is my personal favorite. They are all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I love that I can text the front desk for help or queries and having them responded to and/or resolved almost immediately. The shuttle service to main street and other surrounding areas is a big plus and supper convenient. The drivers are always very friendly and informative too. My family and I have been coming here for several years now. We love the place even more each time we come.

Sad we didn’t get a decent view from our room but it was a nice stay.

Quiet, beautiful clean property.

This "ski chalet" condo complex was fun to visit in off season, when prices are reasonable. Room was nice, but had some maintenance issues including a hole in the wall where someone slammed the door handle thru the drywall. It's a bit isolated but an easy drive back into Park City.
