Great spot. would have liked more clarity on where to store our skis. Also, and this is unique to our unit, the outlet situation in the kitchen was so dumb and made for unsafe use of electric appliances. Also, there wasn’t a proper cutting board which leads to dull and unsafe knives. The cutting board was glass, which instantly dulls knives. Also, the tv and internet connectivity to the tv was spotty and u clear. Sort of annoying. But perhaps other units don’t have these issues.

Excellent location for skiers as the Resort Ski Village is just across a parking lot. On the downside, the pool and hot tub area is not finished unlike communication to the contrary. Hot tub is not hot, sauna is not working.

We picked the place for its proximity to the lifts (5 min walk with ski booths on). The room itself was very spacious - easily accommodated 2 adults + 2 kids over 5 nights. The pull down bed was actually comfortable.
However, the property is a little dated, from bathrooms and kitchen to the heater that's built into the wall between the bedroom and living room and was extremely loud (we had to shut it off at night).

We loved staying at the Silver King hotel. We stayed at a 1 BD apartment with two bathrooms. There was a queen size Murphy bed in an alcove off the living room, what was a great surprise as it was 4 of us and a Murphy bed is always more comfortable than a sofa bed. The unit also had a washer and dryer, the kitchen was well equipped and it was very quiet. The hotel is two blocks from the ski area and the free shuttle stops right in front of the hotel. Parking is included in the fee, which was another great surprise. We will definitely stay again here!

The key to satisfaction is to have low expectations: Given that PC and DV are comically overpriced during the ski season - this is a reasonable option with great access to both PC mountain (5 min walk to lift) or bus to DV in front of the hotel. The rooms are privately owned so likely hit and miss. Ours was rustic but clean and comfortable - with lots of light and space. The hotel also provides ski lockers and some discount for the ski rental next door. There is not much of a lobby and the gym and pool exist but are somewhat basic. In general, PC (and to a lesser extent DV) during the ski season is not very pleasant, as everything is full/overrun with tourists and hence lifts, restaurants and hotels tend to be overcrowded and pricey - eg., a ski day pass for $279 is a reason not to come anymore.
