Please visit this perfect gem if you want a great experience. From the warm welcome to the spectacular food add to this the kind of service you can only wish for. A brilliant team. Without a doubt, the best Sunday Roast I have had in a very very long time.

We received a very warm welcome and our room was modern and very clean. The pub has a relaxed atmosphere of a proper village pub with friendly locals, excellent food and very helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and our 4 golden retrievers were made very welcome. We would definately stay again and recommend.

Lovely local pub, our room was excellent. Evening meal in the restaurant was great. An adequate self service continental breakfast was fine and we could order a hot breakfast if desired. The steep stairs to the bedrooms may be an issue for some.

We were staying locally so took a walk along to see what was happening here. We didn't eat but they do seem to do a nice selection of food. We enjoyed a guest ale and a larger. Along with a game of darts. The pub was full, in a nice way, traditional pub. Every one was friendly. I thi k this would be a lovely place to have as your local pub. Really nice atmosphere.

What a find. Looking for somewhere half an hour from Gatwick, and came across the Windmill Inn. Very helpful booking staff, and accommodating our late arrival by offering sandwiches. The Inn has various areas to sit, eat and drink, and an open fire with comfy chairs. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished, and very comfortable, with crisp sheets and fluffy pillows. The self service continental breakfast had so many choices. Probably just as well we had to leave. I will definitely keep it on my list for another visit. Thank you.

We booked the Windmill Inn from a recommendation by the people we were visiting nearby and it was a very convenient location. Food was excellent and the serving staff were very friendly and attentive. The main gripe we had with our room was that it at the top of the building in the roof meaning you had to watch your head when walking in the bedroom. The major issue was because it is an old inn the corridors and stairways are really narrow and difficult to negotiate. When we booked the room it was the last one available and did show a picture of the narrow stairs up to the room but until we actually saw them it is hard to visualise. We are both in our 60's so agility is a problem and trying to carry a case up really narrow stairs was a major challenge. I get that being a very old building with loads of character is a feature but a person with any disabilites would have found it impossible to get up to the room. Toiletries weren't brilliant and the toilet paper was of very poor quality. I know it's not 5* accomodation but little things like the small things can make a big difference. Overall a nice place to stay or eat but be aware if you book a room which one you get.

Our regular meeting with family and friends for dinner last Wednesday was,as usual, upto the high standard that it always is. Food and service great and prices still very reasonable. The pub was very busy, which is good to see, with a nice atmosphere.

Went for family lunch all 7 of us had the roast as Sunday. It was fabulous great meat, vegetables very well cooked and presented. The service was outstanding. Thank you a great meal and outing. Especially as for my mother’s 91st birthday. Would thoroughly recommend
