An awesome place with awesome amenities fantastic for a family get together hosts were helpful and friendly will definitely go back A+A+A+ the games room had a pool table Fooseball numerous board games plus a long dining table and bar set up

Lovely surroundings with beautiful gardens and walks. A heated pool. Our cottage was lovely with a full kitchen and a separate bedroom. Our hosts we really friendly and showed us all the facilities. We were just in time to see the sunset which was glorious. Would love to stay again.

My wife and I travelled NZ for seven weeks. Kauri Villas was the best accommodation experience of the entire trip.
If you are looking for a little rest and relaxation, beautiful scenery,
traditional Kiwi charm combined with luxurious surroundings, then this is the place for you!

Absolutely one of our best nights away. The setup in the Kohinui Cottage was great. Lovely presentation and decor. Very private and very comfortable beds. Location is beautiful. We wanted to visit the local Parua Bay tavern and weren't disappointed. Andrea, our host couldn't have been more welcoming. Great place to chill. Many thanks. Ben and Jan.

This is a beautiful gem nestle among the lush bush on top of a little hideaway hill providing a near 360 degree view of the surrounding including the tranquil water in the distance. I have been visiting Whangarei for the good part of the past 40 years and this one tops the list of charm, serenity and top class hospitality from the hosts Andrea and Mike. The breakfast provided by the IT savvy part time chef Mike was just perfect.

Outstandingly beautiful location and the most wonderful host. Everything you could possibly need and more. The little touches like fresh flowers, pool towels and a fully equipped kitchen make this place so easy to feel at home with. To top it all Andrea is so friendly and helpful. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

We had the loveliest 3 nights at Kauri Villas. Mike & Andrea made us so welcome. The setting is beautiful.. we had the Magnolia suite which just made our stay so special. The rooms were beautifully presented . We had dinner at the Tavern joining in the weekly quiz night. Thanks for asking us Mike. We had never explored the Whangarei Heads and we spent a magic day seeing a part of NZ that we didn't know. We can highly recommend the villas. The breakfast were a delight. Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. The setting is stunning and so restful. Our cottage had far more than we expected, perfect if you wished to stay for a longer period. Every little last detail included, i.e. books and magazines for all ages. Mike and Andrea super friendly and nothing too much trouble. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💕
