It’s a Japanese concept hotel well maintained check-in was very smooth. The rooms were nice toilet was very clean, but we didn’t stay there for a long because we have to catch up early in the morning and I wish I could stay a couple of days.

Quite rad for a hostel. Customer service and vibe ✅
It'd be very much appreciated if there was an alternative toilet and shower to use whenever maintenance men would go inside the female bathroom. Or at least a sign for the guests to be forewarned.

Our stay at Yamato Hostel was okay overall. We arrived around midnight, and the location felt a bit off the main road, so it was quite dark. For safety, I would advise not going out at night. There was one security guard outside, which gave us some reassurance.
Inside, the lobby looked nice and welcoming. If you have large luggage, take note that there is no lift, but the staff will assist in bringing your bags to your room.
We booked the family suite, which was spacious and generally pleasant. The bed was soft and comfortable, but unfortunately we couldn’t sleep well because the room was hot. The downside is that there was only one air conditioner in the living room. This made the bedroom stuffy, even when we set the air conditioner to the lowest temperature. With two toddlers, I was glad we had brought a mini fan with us.
Overall, if you are traveling without kids, this place can be a good choice. But with young children, I personally would not stay here again.

The BEST !!! You would not expect very nice interiors for such a low price (less than 800 pesos). The common area is also very comfortable. Ito yung lugar na kahit common toilet, hindi ako nagdadalawang-isip pumasok.First time ko rin magupload ng pics sa review. The rules on being silent make it a good place to work, esp with many electrical sockets. Wifi is fast, and you can do video calls. Bunk beds have their own light. Perhaps the only negative I saw was that not all showers are working and some of the hooks are broken. Also, there may be some travelers who may be disrespectful so if there is a way to control them (this is a challenge!), then it would be great. But when I stayed, it was very quiet, except for one person cursing. Staff is very helpful..even when you dont ask them to help with bags, they do.

Had to come back to rest after my Japan trip and I was glad that there's hot shower already in the common CRs. Again the staff are very kind and helpful. Bed in the dorm rooms is very comfortable. Will surely book again if the need arise

This is by far the most beautiful hostel I've stayed at in the Philippines. It's literally comparable to hostels in Japan!! ♥️ The kitchen, the room and the common areas are very clean. It looks like a hotel except there are other people in the room with me. The lockers are big enough to store my luggage and other important things. The common area has a separate eating/dining area and a "quiet room" for those who work remotely. The bathrooms have a lot of toiletr cubicles and shower room, it even has 2 changing rooms. I am beyond amazed! Lastly, the staff are amazing even the guards outside. Kudos to everyone!! 😍 i would definitely stay here again!

The place is very clean — both the bedroom and the bathroom, as well as the common areas. It’s located in the city, and it’s not too far to walk to different parts of town.

booked a queen room. Room is relatively big. Concrete style but was ok. Standalone shower and toilet. Water pressure was not good though and hot water shower was mostly lukewarm. But an affordable option. You will need to walk up 3 levels for your room though.
