Radisson Blu Resort, Gran Canaria

Location: The hotel boasts an exceptional location by the sea, allowing guests to enjoy stunning sea views from every room. Conveniently situated, it provides easy access to the beach, boardwalk, and local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area.

This was our first visit to this Radisson having previously stayed at the one in Puerto Mogan. Overall it is a really high standard, that I believe to be a 5 star experience. When I look at a review I break it into the hotel standard and facilities, the staff/service, the room, the location and food which is of course balanced with the price you pay. For transparency we paid for a 2 room suite but were fortunate enough to get upgraded to a 3 bedroomed one which was simply enormous. Huge bedrooms, own kitchen, 20m balcony with a hot tub and a view overlooking the ocean. Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of waves was until this holiday a dream, thank you. The hotel itself has everything we needed from pools, abundance of loungers, cocktail bar (barman is a genius), restaurants, tennis courts and a decent gym. The gem for us was the spar shop on the second floor which meant everything we needed was on site and very good quality/value. So we made our lunch most days and even a couple of evening meals which we ate on the terrace. The ladies that work there are just incredible. All the staff at the hotel are super professional and very helpful, dealing with requests for assistance immediately. Cleaning is of the very highest of standards. One top tip is go to Lievitando (see separate review) the most incredible Italian restaurant a 10 min walk from the hotel. It is hidden away, situated above the Mariposa Spa but very much worth the walk and you will end up going many many times. Overall I would throughly recommend the hotel, and close off with a huge thank you to the staff for making our stay a memorable one.
