Staying in Porto Merika was a wonderful experience, we were met by the manager, Eva who drove us to the hotel we were given a beautiful suite with outstanding views of the bay. we were welcomed with coffee and refreshments by the staff at the pool bar. the room was large clean and comfortable, linen was changed daily. The sea water pool was lovely and clean and perfect for a serious swim. Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. They served the best coffee we tasted in our month long trip around the Aegean. The tranquility was sublime, not a sound but for the occasional wave, absolutely perfect for my Yoga. The sunsets here are the best on the island. We will definitely return to this hotel. Easily 5 *

L‘hotel è vicino a Skala che si può raggiungere a piedi, le camere sono spaziose, ma lo spazio per riporre la roba è insufficiente. L‘arredamento è datato e abbastanza bruttino, sia nella stanza che nel bagno. Carino il balconcino o il piccolo giardino a seconda delle camere. Asciugamani molto ruvidi e molto pesanti. Colazione buona, ma incredibilmente non c’è un locale per la colazione, si può fare solo fuori e se c‘è vento non è per nulla piacevole. Personale gentile e disponibile.

La struttura ha diversi punti di forza ma anche diverse debolezze. si tratta di un due stelle e non ne vale di più. L'arredo delle stanze è molto semplice, un po' datato; le porte e le finestre si chiudono male. La doccia è piccola, con tenda e senza asta. Non è in centro, ma dista 15 minuti a piedi, lungo una strada senza marciapiede. Dunque, è sempre necessario prendere un mezzo sia per raggiungere le spiagge, sia per uscire alla sera. I punti di forza: un bel giardino, la piscina con vista mare, una buona colazione, buon livello di pulizia, cambio quotidiano degli asciugamani, cordialità del personale, camere spaziose, condizionatore e frigo ben funzionanti. In conclusione, la struttura non sarebbe stata male, ma ritengo che il prezzo pagato (euro 180 a notte) sia stato sproporzionato rispetto a quanto ha offerto.

Le prime sensazioni sono importanti ... e come sono scesa dal traghetto ed ho visto ad attenderci colui che verrà da noi ribattezzato "Brad" (andateci e scoprite il perché), con un gran sorriso e una simpatica e minuscola Jeep gialla, ho subito capito che tutto sarebbe stato perfetto. Tragitto di pochi minuti ed eccoci a Porto Merika! Meravigliosa!!! ... come Jenny, che ci dà il benvenuto e si rivelerà preziosa nel darci ogni tipo di consiglio, gentile e premurosa. La nostra camera affacciava sulla piscina e sul mare, veniva pulita ogni giorno compreso il cambio degli asciugamani. Ogni mattina, inoltre, Brad ci deliziava della sua simpatia servendoci la colazione a bordo piscina. Tutto Perfetto!

My boyfriend and me really enjoyed our stay at Porto Merika hotel in Pa**os. The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is welcoming and friendly and it is situated in a good location. The lady at the reception was really helpful and polite, she gave us some tips and allowed us to have breakfast since we have arrived and to do a late checkout. Recommended!

the pool wasn’t clean. The room was decorated with 80s wrecked furniture. The ladies at breakfast were really polite. We were given the impression that we were staying on a cutty sharks wreck Better stay on the beach in a tent
