Akara Hotel Pattaya

I’ve gone through many rounds of selecting prices. My trick is to choose a price on Trip.com via Agoda, then remember that price. Then I open a new browser and search on another platform; it will show prices from all platforms. There will be one that is cheaper, which is from Trip.com. Click on the cheaper price, and it will link you to the Trip.com app, where you can then book. Many Chinese guests stay at this hotel; you'll see both men and women fully dressed up.

First off, the service was excellent. We were welcomed right from the hotel entrance. Upon checking in, our room felt spacious, clean, and had an amazing view. The bed was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Nearby amenities include a 7-Eleven and TOPS supermarket, and just a bit further is Terminal 21 mall – this hotel truly has everything! They even have their own ice cream shop, which is incredibly delicious. I'd give it 100/100, no exaggeration, no holding back. I wish I could just laze around and enjoy this view for a whole week!

The pool on the 24th floor has a great view, highly recommended. Only one side of the rooms (16-21) has a sea view, which is circled in the uploaded photos. It's best to aim for a room on the 20th floor or higher.

The convenience, ambiance, and food were excellent, and they even offered parking. However, I was very bothered by the layout of the toilet in the bathroom. It's placed at the very back, so every time I needed to use it, I had to walk through the shower area, which was always wet. This meant my feet got soaked every single time.

Stayed in room 1716 on 7/4/2026. The bathroom had a terrible smell, like a sewer gas odor coming from the drain. The air conditioner fan kept hitting the blinds all night, making a loud noise. I booked a twin-bedded room but was given a single bed. I had already noted this in my reservation, but it seems the hotel didn't pay attention.

Our overall stay exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend this hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic, right beneath Terminal 21 shopping mall, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining out, and travel couldn't be easier. The rooftop pool is definitely the highlight, offering expansive views and an unobstructed city panorama – perfect for photos with an amazing atmosphere and stunning scenery. The rooms are clean and tidy, providing a very comfortable living experience. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, with both Western and Asian options available. The ingredients are fresh, and the selection is incredibly abundant; we were very satisfied with our meals every day. The staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was efficient and smooth. Whether you're on a leisurely vacation or a short trip, this hotel is an excellent choice, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.
