Basic hotel. Kamer met balkon praktisch boven de zee. Mooie setting maar het geluid van de golven op de rollende keien was voor ons wat te overdonderend. Zeker niet rustgevend. Alleen wifi aan de receptie. Op zich geen probleem voor ons. Maar t is maar dat je het weet. Geen lift, wat na een lange wandeling wel eens kan tegenvallen. Ontbijt in naastliggend restaurant Was ok.Vriendelijk personeel maar spreken praktisch geen andere taal en zelfs in het Portugees was het moeijlijk. Kunnen zeker geen uitleg geven over wandelingen in de buurt. Er zijn veel betere pensions in de buurt. Goede uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen naar Paul vallei of Janela. Vlakbij zeezwembaden van Sinagoga, voor luttele 200 escudos brengt busje je daar heen. Gezellig dorpje. S avonds ambiance met live music in bar op het centrale plein.
