Hyatt Place ATL Norcross Peachtree

I always stay here when i am on trip in Atlanta. Big room and clean. Nice location

The accommodation was clean, basic, appeared a bit worn, out dated. There was no drawer space other than the 3 small drawers on sink vanity which one had a hair dryer inside. The toilet felt on the floor for my partner who is 6 feet 5" . The breakfast was passable but nothing to get out of bed for. Maintenance had to bring (the next morning)the microwave that we were charged for but not in the room upon arrival. The also had to repair the toilet seat, it was missing a bolt. The elevators were extremely slow and we were on the top floor but we heard children up and down the halls early morning each day.

I was initially given a room where the floor was soaked near the AC unit, which could have led to mold. I was also told that after paying for parking, it would have been free for a five-day stay—but I wasn’t able to get a refund. They moved me to another room because of the issue, but that room was already occupied. It turned out the same employee who checked me into the first room hadn’t properly marked the second room as taken. By the end of it, Tracy understood our frustration and did what she could to make things right. Her help made a big difference and improved the experience for both me and my wife. Also we never heard from the manager about the issue that take place from square one.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the World of Hyatt at Hyatt Place Atlanta/Norcross. If it weren’t for the experience with one staff member, Tracy, our stay would have been a 10 out of 10 in terms of service. Unfortunately, Tracy’s rudeness significantly dampened our experience for one day. That said, Manager Steve was prompt, thoughtful, and very helpful in addressing the situation, and all of the other staff members were consistently friendly and accommodating. If not for Tracy’s rudeness, I would have rated this hotel even higher and gladly left a five-star review on Google. It’s unfortunate that one negative interaction can impact an otherwise excellent stay.

OMG. talk about MUSTY and OLD. I mean yellow halls were so last century. This shack needs to be upgraded ASAP. If I could describe this is hotel in one word it would be CRUSTY. Very disappointing experience as a regular Hilton stayer.
