The location is great with stunning views. The hotel is too casual for my liking and I expected something completely different. The Bench restaurant is a disaster i.e. Spring break meets trailer park. For a hotel of this category and this price level (north of 1500 USD per night) this is totally unacceptable to me. It was a mistake to come here

While I am sure there are many excellent caddies at Pebble Beach, we lucked in to two of the best. Anthony and Randy. They made the day for my son and I even better than expected. Professional in every way, excellent at their craft, worked very hard. I truly recommend these two gentleman if you ever are lucky enough to play at Pebble. It was a memorable experience and having these two great caddies made the dayl

The property is spectacular but it's not the location alone that makes it so special. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is delicious. And we loved the swimming pool and facilities, amazing views from a full sized pool.

this "hotel", which both is and isn't is of that rare breed of lodging that makes one feel at home. literally. if you have ever had the occasion and opportunity to be a guest in a better home, The Lodge at Pebble Beach will remind you of that kind of experience. every interaction with staff gave one the feeling they were being attended to by an old family equerry. there was nothing corporate about the experience. at no time did i feel i was being subjected to some "standard operating procedure" or employee's manual. the rooms, even the modest ones, are palatial, for what they are. high ceiling and sprawling floorspace make for an en-suite guestroom in a mansion, sort of vibe. room service. the food arrived hot, even though the kitchen was a few hundred yards away and it was raining, cold and windy. the concierge. a more affable exchange can not be had. the bar. i asked that the bartender prepare an obnoxiously off-the-menu cocktail and he did it, without thinking about it. without hesitation. and not with any complaining or exasperated vibe, either. the people at the front desk kind of put you in the mind of a fuzzy episode of the TV Series "Hotel" in the way they tendered the keenest and intentional care to every word that comes from your mouth. at every turn i was confronted with nicety, service, and warmth. i'll be back. thank you, Lodge!

We had very high expectations and they were all met. Everything was really perfect: service, quality, standards, cleanliness, friendliness, golf, food, drink, bar, restaurants, rooms. In addition, we have received a great update.

This is an old school golf hotel on picturesque 17-Mile Drive. As areas of natural beauty go, it’s hard to beat. I’ve stayed many times over the years and this time the price was up about 15% compared to a year ago, at around $2,000 per night with taxes. As a fellow guest remarked, it feels like a throwback to the 1970s. Service is normal. Room service takes about 45 minutes to deliver meals. The parking valet takes about 10-15 minutes to bring your car. Food is decent and as you would expect expensive. It’s standard Californian fare. My room had a great view over the ocean and 18th fairway and a generously sized terrace. There is a gas fireplace and a reasonably sized bathroom, although no tub. The bed is large and comfortable. Decor is unremarkable and hasn’t changed since I’ve been staying: it’s bland homely rather than anything to write home about. The restaurants are acceptable but don’t expect your $2k a night room to guarantee you a table. Overall a handy place to stay if you’re attending an event here but the price doesn’t match the expectation.

I had breakfast there in the room over looking the ocean and it had been a really good experience so I went back the day of the Pebble Beach Concours. I was told they were serving in the Tap room so I went there. It was freezing cold in there. Only a very bare buffet was served and only regular coffee (no Lattes) but I was in a bit of a hurry so I did it. My food was cold. Some food wasn't even there, just empty dishes. Had to flag someone down for a coffee which was horrible but that was nothing compared to the cost. Over $70!!!!! That was ridiculous! BAD SERVICE, BAD FOOD

We visited the Lodge at Pebble Beach this weekend from San Francisco during Concours d'Elegance and received incredible hospitality from staff. Special thank you to Vanessa at the Bench restaurant and Greg from guest services for an excellent experience.

We travelled to Pebble for over 10 years on annual basis. Our last trip was just terrible. We stayed in the spa room and our room was infested with ants. Day one they were in the bathroom, day two they were in the bathroom and by the doorways, day three they were at the baseboards and bedside tables throughout the whole room, a true thick trail of them. The management's response was to spray our room and leave a can of ant spray with us, as they were "pretty full". At 10:00 pm at night after the manager on duty came to our $1600.00 a night room, she finally offered to move us as we watched ants crawl up the entry doorway. We seriously considered just leaving the resort because the ant infestation was hard to recover from, but even harder to stomach was the lack of empathy and understanding how this issue was a deal breaker. We were later told by the staff that the spa rooms have ant issues, but some people do not mind! We were comped two nights during our 7 day stay, but it did not help move the trip forward. Post departure, I wrote the CEO and his response was lackluster at best, a sorry and ohh, his sister had the same name as me. We typically spend $15,000-20,000 for a week's stay, but I guess ants infesting a room and that amount of money does not matter to the leadership team. We have not been back since.
