A conference weekend is behind me. Nice hotel placed in good area. All of attractions are near by, in just about 10 minutes walk, maximum. Staff very nice, helpful and friendly. Rooms are big and confortable. You have all you need in them. The only cons about rooms are really unconfortable pillows!? You have two of a kinds of pillows, and both are not good ... Food: traditional, delicious Hungarian food, but not too many different choices - two, but combined with warious sorts of salats, tastes great! The card key - I don't know how it happened but it didn't work. Thanx to my rommate, so I could've used the room. I went to the reception to complain about the issue few times and they repared it, but it just didn't work at all...for that matter and a really unconfortable pillows, I give my 4 stars. All the rest is just perfect and I would recommende it to my friends!

The location of the hotel is excellent, the atmosphere of the century-old building is beautiful. But the problem with the old building was that the rooms were a bit small, but the two had enough luggage without any luggage. The room has a small refrigerator, electric kettle, slightly old furniture, and a thin layer of dust on the TV. What is interesting is that the toilet in the bathroom and the water pipe valve flush the water. It is the oldest I have ever seen, and it is quite easy to use. The shower in the bathtub can only be held by hand, and the water pressure is high. Breakfast was a bit surprising, and it is not uncommon for three-star hotels to have such a rich breakfast. Finally, praise the price of Ctrip, very powerful! ~

Yes we live in the period of Corona virus unfortunately... The personal of this hotel didn’t accept me only because I am Italian even if I live in Hungary 10 years... so I suppose that in this period they don’t accept: German, french, Spanish, Romanian, Swedish, Norwegians, Korean, Chinese and all the people from the world except Hungarians because all foreigners could have Corona virus. So I suggest to foreigner to not go there in order to not loose their time because you could have Corona virus. They even asked me, like police, the last time I have been at home in Italy... not your business... Unprofessional and racists... never more... And I was there many times bringing even other customers...

Fantastic location just behind the Djami of the main square. Parking is tight but ok. Front desk was mostly kind and helpful. The hotel has a nice lobby where they serve good all you can eat breakfast that is included in the room price — that makes this a bargain. The living quarters are mostly hostel-level. Beds are serviceable in comfort if you are ok with European firm mattraces (not plush at all). Design is minimalistic and so are amenities. Ergonomics (especially shower and its curtain) are not good. The place is moderately but noticeably run-down: spots of various colors on the carpet, some is torn, peeling paint from doors and ceiling, even the room key envelop is heavily preused.

Great hotel just a few minutes walk from the center of Pecs. The staff is very friendly and spoke English very well. Breakfast is well done and was a very welcome way to start our days in Pecs. There is limited parking on the street, and if it is taken, there are spots available for use for hotel guests but you will need to pay a small fee for it. Be advised, the entrance to the hotel parking is narrow. We did not realize we could have stayed parked on the street for the weekend and parked our van in the hotel lot, receiving a couple scratches on the side in the process as it was night. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Even though it was February, the room did get warm one night (we like sleeping in a cool room) and so we opened the window and were pleasantly surprised to find how quiet the area was. We previously tried to turn on the air conditioner and although the unit would turn on, the blower did not. The room thermostat showed 23 degrees even though the thermostat was set to 20. We did not raise this with the staff as the open window served our purpose and the fresh air was welcome. Highly recommend this hotel and if we return to Pecs we would be glad to stay here again.
