I booked a room for my mother at very short notice. The staff made her feel comfortable and welcome even though she was alone. Accommodated me having a delivery to the hotel etc. Excellent, couldn't thank the hotel enough.

This is a very nice classy hotel. Regretfully I was only there for one night so didn’t get a chance to see all the public areas. Staff are very friendly and polite. The restaurant was excellent. Food was amazing. Service very good. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Adequate space for a single room. Bar is well stocked and staff were very friendly. Which always helps! There was a wedding going on and the hotel had adequate staff for the wedding guests and everyone else. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. It’s in a great location with a large car park

We wanted a special time for our 52nd wedding anniversary and the Penventon supplied it. We had a great morning by and in the pool with a bottle of Prosecco and a tapas lunch. Special thanks to Catherine and the leisure centre team who looked after us so well. Great place for a special celebration.

Myself and my friend came here on the 15/06/2024 and what an amazing experience we had. We had the Earth package treatment at the spa, and from start to finish everything was perfect. The staff here couldn’t do enough and went above and beyond. It really made a great start to my friends 30th birthday. We also went on to have an evening meal and wow the food was absolutely beautiful and very well looked after, and again couldn’t do enough. To top it all off free Prosecco and shots was an absolute delightThankyou.

4 star hotel, old and characterful. Only a single room available when i stayed in January. It does have a bed in there at least. Could do with a new mattress though. Mustn't complain, sure beats sleeping in the car and the staff are superb. Redruth is great to explore with a good selection of eateries

I was recently bridesmaid at a wedding at Penventon. From the moment we arrived from the church we were made to feel so welcome. The canapés and welcome drinks were very tasty. Not just one, but multiple staff members who noticed me pushing the pram were holding doors open, advising where the baby change was without being prompted and just generally being so helpful. The food was delicious, and service was with a smile. Our room was perfectly clean - I loved the trunk style coffee station, and the bed was very comfortable. Both my husband and I agreed that the breakfast was the best we’d had in a while. A ‘proper’ cooked breakfast according to my husband. Check out was smooth and seamless. The only downside was that we were so tired from the wedding that I didn't see the hot chocolate menu until the following morning! Couldn’t have asked for a better time.

This hotel is an old style of accommodation that as been renovated recently, the bedrooms are well laid out and the beds very comfortable, the restaurant offers a varied menu of very delicious food and a well stocked bar to help the food go down. There is a Spa and pool area at the back of the hotel which is also patronized by local people and various businesses hold meetings in the hotel, for me the best feature of this hotel is the staff I have never met a more friendly and efficient group of people nothing was to much trouble and always a warm smile to greet you. My only criticism would be the bathrooms, as a senior guest I found it difficult to get into the bath and out again without the use of grab handles to hold on to and a more modern shower system would be preferred to the old fashioned style of the overhead sprinkler style. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this hotel again as my experience was very enjoyable and relaxing.
