Excellent hotel on the beach

I absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are nice, the view is great, and the staff is so friendly. The rooms have amazing views of the beach and sunrise. It’s a great location not too far from the pier.

This is such a beautiful hotel with every room beachfront facing. Perfect when you're on the beach. The pool is lovely and perfect for every age. The breakfast was standard for Holiday Inn Express and good enough to get us through to a late lunch. I have to go on about the staff. Everyone was over the top helpful and friendly but the icing on the cake was the day we checked out we got a call that we had left some items behind which we hadn't discovered yet. The housekeeper had not appropriated them for herself but turned them in. We were over the top impressed. They shipped them to us next day (at our expense). The room was perfect, well maintained, clean, modern in every aspect with plenty of working outlets--electrical and USB. Well, there was one down side common to many hotels these days going to this industrial modern or whatever it is decor. There is no storage. There were just the 2 of us, we were here only 3 nights; there were only 2 drawers for all our clothes plus the closet with a high shelf. The furniture is utilitarian, not cozy and comfortable. But this is becoming par for the course so no deduction in my review. Also, the husband would like to have a tiny bar of soap, not the "fru-fru" body wash. There was no "Do not disturb" sign, only a door hanger that says "Not ready yet". What is that for? Do I put it on the door to tell my husband I'm not ready yet for our next event? Weird. But we loved this place believe it or not.
