Overall, the hotel was good. Had everything we needed. It was a little on the old side, but you get what you pay for. Ideally located across the road from the beach, however, there was a bar across the parking lot that had a live band that played into the early hours of the morning.

This is an amazing little hotel right on the bay, and across the street from Pensacola Beach. The room was great for our needs. The pool was a nice place to cool off. If your expectations are luxurious vacation then this is not it. If you want a laid back, kid friendly and pet friendly place by the beach - this hotel offers that plus free kayak, paddle board and bike rentals. Breakfast was great! Everybody that works here was friendly and helpful. Loved every second of our stay and will be back!

We stopped on the way to New Orleans, there is a stunningly beautiful beach nearby, it was a pity it was cold and most importantly, in the pictures of the hotel, they say there is an electric grill, but in fact there is none.

Just spent a week at Surf and Sand. It has that old school beach vibe which is what we love. We loved it! The staff is amazing from Amanda (manager) to Elizabet (breakfast room). And the location is perfect. Plenty of great restaurants to walk to. We did not have a car but you do not need one. Gorgeous beach across the street. Just book the trip. You won’t regret it. And the locals are super friendly and helpful. Thanks Amanda!!

The AC unit was a lot more quiet than the last time. The room was nice and clean but it looked to have what appeared to be mold on the ceiling. Mgt gave us an upgraded room overlooking the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
