I cannot rate the staff at this hotel highly enough. Stayed here to attend my mother in laws funeral along with other family members from all over the country. Dealt directly with the hotel to make the bookings and the service was excellent. On arrival we were made to feel so welcome and that continued throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, we had young children and a baby in our group and it was pretty noisy and a bit messy at times but we were treated with absolute friendliness and kindness at all times. I’ve stayed in many, many hotels all round the world but none of the staff have been as amazing as those who work at this hotel. Thank you all for making a tough few days so much easier for all of us.

Always have a fantastic time here. This is our 4th stay. Nice views. Comfortable rooms. Delicious food. Fabulous spa area. All staff are excellent, but especially in the dining room, they go above and beyond. Will not be too long before we go again.

I recently visited the restaurant with a friend and was welcomed in by friendly staff and taken to our seats. Our waitress was Kate. She was so friendly and attentive throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble! She was so lovely and made our stay that much more enjoyable. We were so pleased with the level of service and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you

I found the Springfield to be a standard travelling business hotel - sparkling clean bathroom but run of the mill furniture with no minibar or tea available; only coffee. However, the hotel has an excellent restaurant and spa, with great service and helpfulness by the staff - in particular the hotel manager and the housekeeping staff. They looked after me superbly well, and I appreciated the way they bent the rules to accomodate an injury I incurred.

Very impressed. Wendy on reception detailed our stay, booking was easy. Our room was at the back of the hotel which was very quiet, clean bathroom was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and didn't hear any noise from other guests or from outside, we both got a very good night's sleep. This was after eating in the restaurant which is spacious so you felt almost private. Staff were very kind prompt and the food while a little limited in variety was well-prepared, served piping hot and a generous portion. We were planning to try a sweet but so full couldnt manage anything. Breakfast was impressive and generous, so much so we hardly ate the rest of the day. I do hope work brings me back to the area as this is a place we would love to stay again. It was the attention to detail like turning cup handles to face us and asking by name if there was anything else they could do for us - a brilliant stay.

We held a surprise 50th and it could not have good any better. Kim was great as a liaison for the preparation and Charlie (I hope I got her name right) was fab on the night making sure everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone complimented the food, staff and service

We was here last week food is amazing and staff very friendly the hotel is very nice 14 of us were here and all food came out together and hot amazing place definitely be back soon big thank you to all staff work very hard amazing amazing food and not bad prices
