Nice clean hotel staff friendly close to restaurants and other businesses

This was the third (and last) time that we will stay here. We visited in April of 2024 and again in June of 2024. The room is great. It has 2 king size beds and a queen size pullout sofa.The breakfast is also good; it is your typical hotel breakfast with waffles, pancakes and the eggs and meat. They also have coffee, milk, juice, and water as well as cereal. In April, we didn't have any bedding for the pullout so we had to ask for it. We were in town for the eclipse and the hotel was busy. We were next to a family who had young kids and the family did nothing to keep them quiet - even at midnight, at 1am and at 2am. We asked the hotel to communicate that they were being too loud and they would not. The kids were running around, jumping on the floor and yelling. Now, while we normally would brush that off the worst part was the bathroom. The tub did not drain and the water pressure was horrible. When we checked out we let the front desk staff know about the issue. We returned in June for another event in town. When we checked in we asked for extra pillows (the pillows they have should be thrown out - there is no fluff left and you may as well have nothing). The woman checking us in looked at us like we were crazy but thankfully she provided the extra pillows because we needed them. I also made the unfortunate mistake of booking the same room (I did not recall the room number but my family did). Our first shower the morning after we checked in confirmed that it was indeed the same room as the tub still did not drain (this is 2 months later) and the water pressure was horrible (there is an issue with the shower diverter valve so when you pull up to have the water come out of the shower head some of the water still comes out of the faucet) and the tub STILL did not drain (I know I mentioned this but it was 2 months later) so well took showers with water up to our ankles (yes, we let the tub drain before others got in). HOWEVER, the worst thing was upon putting our stuff away and throwing out some garbage we discovered that the garbage had not been emptied from the prior people who had stayed in the room. There is a woman on social media who brings a bag of stuff with her to clean her hotel rooms and I have always thought that was a bit overboard until the full garbage can had me double checking the room. Upon checking out, we once again let the front desk staff know about the issues. Ironically, we received a text from Elijah who wanted to know how things were going. I texted him back and didn't receive a response. We had an 8 day stay booked here for this coming August and I just cancelled it and we will be going to a different hotel in the city.

Nice clean, friendly staff but hotel is loud not much if any insulation between floors. Recommend staying on top floor

Water pressure in shower and bathroom sink were horrible! Pillows are way too soft. We had some loud people in our hallway for most of the night our first night there. We got a 5 am wake up call we never asked for we told the front desk the next morning and they did apologize however we got the call again the next morning at 5 am again…

My first issue with them is that they did not honor my confirmation pricing, overcharging us by more than $350 with no notice or explanation. I have been unable to resolve this issue for over a month. 2. Breakfast was served at room temperature which is probably a code violation. Coffee was cold. 3. Like others have noted, the condition of the rooms is not Hampton standard. Hilton should be ashamed to lend their name to this place. 4. It took two days for an extra pillow request to be taken care of. 5. There was no housekeeping during our stay. 6. Towels and other amenities were subpar. Do not stay here. There are nicer places in Toledo and Sylvania.

Good for a short business trip

As a result of a nonchalant, uncaring check-in, I was put on the second floor. I'd asked for a top floor room in writing and in person, and the guy didn't even check to see if one was available. I explained that I awaken easily if someone is above me, but he didn't even check to see if someone was above me (and no, the hotel wasn't sold out). He just didn't care where I went. I was exhausted and had just crossed a time zone line - but people above me were stomping about well past midnight. And even with a noise-maker, the footsteps above me woke me at sunrise, and I swear they just paced back and forth on my head for three hours, so I barely got any sleep at all. It was like having a hammer constantly banging on the wall next to my bed. If the front desk guy had bothered to even consider my request, or pretended to look and apologized for his inability to get me a top floor room, maybe it wouldn't have been so frustrating being kept awake - and then awakened again at sunrise - and getting no sleep at all before my nine-hour drive the next day. And my room was freezing cold and took an hour to reheat to "room temperature." I tried to watch tv but couldn't hear most of the channels - volume level is frozen, I guess, but most channels required top level volume for whisper-level sound. (I am not hard of hearing; I considered this! When the commercials came on, TV blasted way too loud.) And the shower was set to "mist" - no pressure at all. I recommend staying elsewhere.

Love this hotel chain but this is the first time we have stayed in Toledo. The carpet was old, stained and torn. Breakfast employee was gruff and came off rude and disrespectful to patrons
