Amazing stay

Top notch service and food. The hake was to die for and the burger from the farm excellent Melinda was so efficient and friendly I thoroughly recommend this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable for a class restaurant Thank you for a very enjoyable evening

Breakfast treat that was a real disappointment. Full English lacked volume, 1 sausage,2 bacon, 1/2 tomato,1 mushroom, few small potato bites, forgot to bring the toast (asked and it never came), they got my wife's order wrong, sent it back, waited 15mins and the right order came out but was way undercooked. Then presented the bill in full (over £30) and looked shocked when I questioned it. Wasn't the best experience, wasn't the staff out front at fault they tried to rectify, whoever is in the kitchen shouldn't be. Coffee was weak and cold. Avoid for breakfast

A 5 it could be easily. Should have been a be 3.5 but couldn't be mean. A gem in Pershore that needs a facet polishing. Arrival and check in easy, congenial staff and shown to our delightful room . Warm on a cold April day . Drink service in the bar prompt, helpful, Informative and polite service from a charming young man who seemed to be everywhere. Later on the waiter at dinner and our server at breakfast . Dinner again was easy to order promptly delivered with interaction from the cheery staff . I could happily steal 2 at least as they were a credit to the establishment. So if all so good why should it have been 3.5. Well in so many of my reviews breakfast drags the reviewed up a star here breakfast took it down . Nothing wrong with the breakfast (although sausage didn't taste of the quality that our steak and bacon did ) it also was missing black pudding as its shown in the 333 pictures on the website. No it was lack of any cereal option starter ,any juice option and no offer of toast and marmalade. Breakfast felt it was a after thought in the list of catering priorities. The room as said warm inviting clean well appointed the bathroom albeit a dodgy shower button was also spacious, clean well equipped with bath and shower. Overall a gem of a hotel that just needs a polish of attention to breakfast particularly . Thank you for your 40k reads of my last review and keeping us in the top 10% of reviewers . The Angel is a good hotel with history, charm ,good fare and brilliant staff truly brilliant staff that elevate it to a VERY good hotel that is a fraction of being a 5 star review. Another very enjoyable weekend break at The Angel. Staff very welcoming, helpful and obliging. Good food, well presented and with flexible choices. Our room was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Weather was the icing on the cake.

From my very first contact, to checking out, the staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. We had up to 7 rooms over two nights at this sympatheticly modernised Inn. With a birthday meal for 20 people on one evening in the the Gin room. The whole experience was great from the very start. The rooms are pleasant, the atmosphere of the whole place is good. Breakfast was laid back and tasty. The pre-ordered meal exceeded everyone's expectations. Thank you to Nathan and the team.
