Skye was very helpful, friendly and efficient. The road closure was not ideal and perhaps forewarning would have helped.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful, picturesque location near Perth. We went there with our two dogs and they could stay with us not just in our room but in the bar/restaurant too. They were treated like kings there. Around the hotel there were plenty walking opportunities for us and the town was near. The hotel still has its historic charm and well looked after. The staff were very friendly and helpful and working hard even at the busiest times. We met some outstanding members of the staff: Claire the receptionist, Hannah and Kyle as servers and Rafal who is the manager of this hotel. We can't wait to come back soon with the dogs. they said it was pawsome!

Not a 4 star. No way! The room was small, poorly furnished and not cleaned well, as there was a build up of dust in the bedside lights. The building itself was magnificent and made me feel this place had seen better times. A small and old (not smart) TV on the wall. A mediocre 3 star at best.

As we were celebrating our birthdays which are about 2 weeks apart, we decided to revisit Huntingtower Hotel for a mini break as we had so enjoyed our last visits. We checked in and were given the key for our room which was on the first floor. The staff made us welcome as they recognised us from our previous visits. As we had booked Dinner, Bed & Breakfast we went down early and had a pre-dinner drink in the bar area. We went in to have our dinner and were shown the menu. What a choice and what a brilliant idea having all the items individually priced. It was so difficult to select as all the items sounded so appetising. We decided to have main courses and deserts. The next evening we had starters and main courses and on the last evening one had 2 starters and a desert. the other had a main course and a desert. All the food was excellent and so nicely served. Breakfast was a choice of continental or cooked. We had asked for a superior room which had a very large comfortable bed, with a seating area. Coffee and tea making facilities were available. The whole hotel was spotless and we hope to revisit again this year. The staff are so friendly and welcoming.

This beautiful character property makes you feel like you’re stepping back in time! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Even offered to upgrade us to a king room. Food was great and always nice when breakfast is included. I would come here again in a heart beat. Also great value for the price.
