Exceptional service and an incredibly unique experience staying in a chateau full of historical artifacts and artwork. The staff are obviously passionate about what they do, and go to great lengths to he welcoming and accommodating.The wine tour and tasting was very thorough and equally delicious!

Beautifully restored 19th century chateau surrounded by vineyards, yet close to Bordeaux. Had an amazing one night stay followed by a great tour of the winery and a wine tasting the next day Spectacular chateau, gardens and vineyard!

Es impensable visitar Burdeos y no plante**** ir a una bodega. Nos decidimos por Chateau Pape Clement por su cercanía a la ciudad. A Pessac se llega en tren (una estación desde Gare St Jean) o en el tranvía B, y desde allí un paseo hasta la bodega. Hicimos la vista guiada en francés (también disponible en inglés), pero no nos gustó la guía. Se limitó a "recitar" lo típico (historia del lugar, el proceso de fabricación del vino, las variedades de vinos, etc.), le faltaba estar en contacto con el público y hacernos partícipes del relato. Si no has estado anteriormente en una bodega te será difícil comprender lo que te cuenta, ya que en la visita sólo se ven cavas y toneles, y no la cadena de producción, por lo que tendrás que imaginártelo. Al final hay una degustación de vinos, por cierto, muy ricos (y caros).

I'm a generally thrifty person, so when I booked a one-night stay at this price point I cringed a little. But I'm SO GLAD I did! We had an amazing time. David, the concierge, was an absolute treasure. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and gave us a wonderful tour of the grounds packed with interesting historical facts. The food and wine were great. The wine tour and tasting were also quite fun, and all of the staff were super helpful and spoke perfect English. The building itself was gorgeous and the room very comfortable with exactly the kind of old-fashioned luxury you expect from the photos.

Nous avons passé un week-end au château Clément et nous avons passé un moment hors du temps….le monument est juste incroyable, la Egrégoire spacieuse, bien équipée, la salle de bain et sa baignoire a remous est magnifique!!! Le personnel est aux petits soins. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner sont faits avec des produits et variés, tout était délicieux. Nous n’avons absolument rien à redire, juste parfait.
