Royale Chulan The Curve is very well located, within a large Mall (The Curve) and opposite and close to several others, such as IPC, IKEA, 1 Utama, with lots of eating places too. Also close to LRT station.
Room was clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom.
Amenities provided were adequate.
Parking is expensive especially if you need to drive in and out several times a day. Hotel shares the Curve malls parking.
Shower cubicle drain was blocked and water spilled out to rest of bathroom floor. After complaint the technician arrived quickly and said he'd solved the issue however it didn't fully resolve it and water still didn't drain quickly enough. Something the Mgt can look into.
Lobby sofas are comfortable but beginning to show their age. A quality hotel such as this shouldn't have plastic tape all over the sofas covering up the damaged sections.
Overall a comfortable stay but some improvements needed.

The reception staff and guarding were good. Essentially the people were great. The rooms and building though, was super dated and not well maintained. There’s a musky smell too.

This is a rather old hotel. Furnitures are old, but it didn’treally bother me as long it is clean. I guess it’s time for room upgrade and this hotel will be perfect. Staffs were lovely, courteous and friendly. I chose this hotel because of the location to Kidzania and the Curve mall. Love the vibe of Petaling Jaya, slower paced as compared to KLCC.

Convenient.. opposite to ikea
Next to the curve
It’s quite far from city centre - can use MRT about 10min walk from the hotel
At night the area quite quiet hard to find convenient store nearby
Didn’t manage to use the facilities so can’t comment on it

The hotel is within walking distance to the shopping mall. The rooms and hotel facilities have been refurbished and are very comfortable.

Location and breakfast is fantastic. I love the buffet spread.
Room decor is dated. Booked a family studio and toilet is door is not working. Tv is … from 20 years ago.
Only saving grace is its location to Kidzania. Suggest getting 2 separate rooms instead of the family suite.
