Convenient location with plenty of food options nearby. Parking was relatively easy to find; as long as it wasn't peak hour, there was usually a spot. However, the soundproofing was poor, and the room had a smoke smell, which felt unhygienic.

As usual, as there is no better place to stay at SS2, all hotels/inn/motels are terrible, hotel99 included; at least this is the only one that has a lift. we had no choice but to choose hotel99 again.
Rooms are tiny, very dim/no light. Bathroom comes with rain shower only gosh. We usually close 1 eye & stay for 1 nite. Also they will not receive a package on behalf even if u checked in already, which is annoying

The surrounding area has convenient transportation, and the SS2 district is super handy for food and shopping. The best place for durian lovers! It's right next to the market, and McDonald's is just downstairs, along with tons of restaurants and even a morning market. The room size is decent, and the AC works great. It's about an hour's taxi ride to the airport, making it a good option for a layover hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

I would like to file a complaint about an evening staff member. I arrived at around 9pm, and the staff member (a slightly overweight man) showed a very poor attitude.
We had already called earlier to inform that we would check in late and requested to stay in the same room for two nights. However, he responded impatiently, saying it wasn’t him who answered the call and that he couldn’t help.
I understand system limitations, but there was no need for him to raise his voice and sound confrontational. His behavior was unprofessional.

A decent room with reasonable price, shampoo & toothbrush were provided. Might be slightly difficult to get a public car park space during peak lunch & dinner period.
This hotel is conveniently located with alot of restaurant, pharmacies, bakery, massage shop nearby. Daily morning market is also just right in front of the hotel. Highly recommended this hotel for the location.
