Motel 6-Petaluma, CA

We stayed over for only one night to visit family. Our room was perfect for us and gave us everything we needed for our one night. I particularly enjoyed the presence of a small dining booth. Being a retro nut, this really appealed to me with its charm and was unexpected. Our only problem was, of all things, the mattress! Though extremely comfortable, it slid on the surface of its pedestal. We were not aware of its movement until my husband awoke during the night with intense back pain, as he had fallen asleep sitting up while our mattress was traveling south! Because I was laying down, I didn't notice our slow voyage. Our one and only suggestion would be to somehow secure mattresses to prevent Guests from inadvertently moving them. Even so, we would definitely stay there again, due to the location for our needs, cleanliness and charming room touches.

The hotel also offered a wide range of amenities to cater to every guests needs. The well equipped fitness center allowed me to maintain my exercise routine . The swimming pool was a refreshing oasis, perfect for lounging under the warm sun and enjoying a refreshing dip.

I have an long history with this motel. In 2020 ( beginning of the pandemic) my husband and I were stay at this hotel when we almost lost our daughter. Fast forward three years later with our now 2 year old daughter and 4 1/2 month old son…this place turned into an even worse trap house then was before. People all over screaming and banging stuff outside. The water temperature was incredibly messed up. The water went from freezing cold to scolding hot with no happy medium. The A/C wasn’t working for the first two nights so my husband and our kids were suffocating. We were also put in a room that connected to another room which made us uncomfortable. The tables you can tell clearly weren’t clean properly because they were sticky. There curtains were disgusting with some blood-like stains soaked on them. We were also given stained bedsheets which was gross in an of itself. Also called to get the Wi-Fi access code and couldn’t hear the front desk receptionist so my daughter and I walked to the office and when I explained I just called to get the Wi-Fi code the receptionist said I sounded like a man. We spent four days. Four days we could have had better service an amenities. Will NOT EVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!!! If you have children GO SOMEHOW ELSE!!! This is not a family friendly motel. Please spare yourself and your babies. This place is garbage.

Good basic hotel. My room wasn’t ready when I checked in which was frustrating. Had to wait about 30 minutes even though I checked in after the designated time.

It wS deodorized n plenty of soaps abd cups. Lobby had complimentary morning coffee. I liked the hassdl-free parking and various restaurants nearby. Tha ks again

I don’t think we need anything from the house yet but I’m going back in the next week to see what the plan looks like and then I will have to see if I can do anything for the next week if so what wiwowuwiwywwiwiwuuwiwo

Just a passing through quick stay and it was pretty OK. Room was clean though it had an odd smell but opening the door for a while seemed to mostly get rid of that. I'm not sure when the last time I've seen an American hotel that didn't provide shampoo but just had two tiny wrapped bars of soap. I certainly didn't pay a budge rate for this Motel 6. The best part was a few long parking spaces in back for a vehicle and trailer. If you have a trailer, ask for a room in the back.

Front desk is great rooms are lovely like coming back. Bharat at front desk was great. Thank you I will definitely be back with family. I love how I get recognized and greeted every time. You are the best

This is the older property of Motel 6. The Stairwell going to the second floor is holding on till the next possible moment to collapse. The wood is rotten and ready to go replacement, The Room is a standard Motel 6 room with hardwood floors. The Bed sheets were "old" from the previous guest. The bed had odor, you guessed it. It only had 1 towel in the room. Had to go back to the office for more towels for other guests in the room. It had 1 little Shampoo and 1 little soap. ( I guess this is a Covid Crisis) The TV Remote was without battery in it. Since we were passer by, 1 nighter- was ok and lived through it. WIll not return to this property.
